PRO :- there is no hot sweaty back. Extremely comfortable to wear. Plenty of small pockets to forget which one you put items into :-) CON :- the small side hip pockets on the belt. do not fit a small mobile phone. The mesh side pockets that are able to hold water bottles make It that I need to remove the whole pack to drink.

I bought this bag for carrying my laptop etc to and from work. I often run or cycle to work and it's the only bag I found which is suitable for running / cycling and still looks reasonably smart in the office. The padded waist belt is terrific and means you can put all the weight on your hips instead of on your shoulders. I love the hip pockets too - perfect for your phone, keys and cards / passes so you don't need to keep taking the bag off to get the things you need. All in all made my commute hassle-free whether by train, bike or running. Five stars!

We have been in the market for a reasonably sized backpack to use as THE piece of luggage for a journey to Europe. My wife is a petite lady who didn't want to be in pain lugging a big backpack or suitcase and this Osprey was perfect. It has ample pockets so items can be easily sorted. She used a packing cube in the main body of the pack and was able to find all the space she needed keeping the weight between 18 and 20 pounds for the entire journey. The main compartment was skinny yet she found this to be an asset as she was forced to bring what she needed without carrying unnecessary "stuff." She says, "I love the load lifters, the space between pack and my back allowed for great airflow so it was cool, lots of pockets including a super useful small one hidden at the top for quick access to small essentials, and the pockets on the waist belt were very useful." Originally this was to be a temporary pack for this trip and then we would purchase a fancier, more expensive pack for hiking o. the AppalachianTrail and other hikes. Now she feels this is exactly what she wants to carry. A wonderful purchase, indeed.

I’m in love with this pack! It took me aaaages to decide what daypack to invest in. I looked at the hikelite, then decided to check out the Tempest 20 but after seeing the advantages of this Sirrus 24 backpack, (currently the same price!) I decided on this one. And I’m so glad I did! It’s super comfy, easy to adjust to my height (especially the back and shoulder straps!) and I love the space it offers. I’ve worn it for a short city trip and even though fully packed, it felt almost weightless while walking. I’m taking it into the mountains next month. Best features: • adjustable back that fits (I’m 178 cm) • comfy shoulder strap • back mesh air vent that actually works • lots of great pockets and space • brilliant colour (I decided on purple) Disadvantages: • I could have done with slightly bigger mesh pockets on the side (but that’s really because I can’t think of anything else)
