EVOKE OCCU Pine Needle Essential Oil for Diffuser, Aromatherapy, Hair Care

It's difficult to purchase certain things online because we're left trying to discern what we're getting by reading the descriptions and reviews. We cannot touch it, smell it, etc.. Often reviews seem to be based on satisfaction which hinges on perspective. There are over 100 species of pine. Some smell great and include soft sweet notes, bright citrus notes, or down right icky catbox-like smell. But they all include that pine scent either stronger and in your face or weaker masked with the other notes. Take all the complimenting or contrasting scents away and you're left with pine, pure pine scent. That said, this pine oil is not a Balsam fir scent, like a Christmas pine tree smell, so if that is what you're looking for, you will be disappointed. It's exactly as described, pine scent. To me, it's as if you rubbed together the needles of white pine in your fingers, fresh, pure pine scent. I cannot detect any other notes. It's bright but not citrusy. It's perfect if that's what you're looking for. Came in two days, well packaged and included a long dropper so you can reach the bottom of the large bottle. Is it large? Ah, you're left with my perspective ;)

The scent is hard to describe- woodsy, complex, floral- but nothing like crushed pine needles. It is very strong and I used it in my shampoo, but I don't know what species of pine they used because it smells nothing like the Pinaceae plant family, whether leaves, bark or sap. Great smell otherwise, though

Massage therapist. Diluted this into carrier oil as usual. After 4 massages over 2 days, I noticed that my arms and hands had become red. Took a while to realize it was a CHEMICAL BURN from this product. Skin became painful to touch and heat, dry and scaly, eventually flaked off after a week. Washing hands/arms in warm water hurt. I do not have sensitive skin and I've never gotten a chemical burn from a product before. Thank god my clients haven't said anything. SERIOUS LIABILITY HERE. Also, it doesn't even smell that good. It smells very green and bitter (like fresh grass or very young pine needles), not as woodsy as I hoped.

Second time purchasing this oil. It smells calming and relaxing and has become the signature scent of my home.

Great smell… for soap

Has a pleasant aroma, but it certainly isn’t pine. Keeping it because I actually like the smell.

I should have believed the other reviews. This DOES NOT smell like a pine forest. It smells like Pine-Sol floor cleaner. Save your money and just buy a big jug of Pine-Sol. Not at all what I wanted. Very disappointed.

Great scent, nice price

Il prodotto è molto buono e aromatico come mi aspettavo. La consegna si è protratta per oltre 4 giorni anziché l'indomani dell'ordine come scritto sul sito, infine il contagocce in vetro all'interno era spezzato in due.

Es como pasear por un pinar. Un olor rico y delicado, que no se hace pesado y huele a agujas de pino de verdad. Además es muy duradero. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

L'odeur ressemble plus à du bois pourrit qu'à du pin.
