I bought this as a nicer way to give money to my D&D loving sister for christmas. She got a KICK out of this. It is very easy to reset and comes with a couple of very precious rings and a cute card.Great quality metal! I was impressed by the heft of this. It is also beautiful!!Tip: write a code poem for the answer! Very fun.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my parents and they loved it. It was a fun gift. The secret code can be changed (although I kept it to it's original code). It is heavy duty, it is a difficult puzzle as I had to give them a hint, design is great, it fits money and small notes, easy to use.

I was surprised how heavy this is in a good way. It’s a solid Cryptex and very well made. Easy to change password and fun to hide things in and have kids/adults try to guess the password.Good for hiding money, small coins or rings.

I really like this and the quality is good. I used it to put money in for my son‘s Christmas as I play a prank on him every year. It’s worth the money but could use some work on the ease of spinning the cylinders. They are kind of hard to spin and line up.

The weight of this actually surprised me! It came well packaged and great instructions which didn’t make it too hard to open. The design of this is amazing and it is extremely durable. It should last for many years.

I am so impressed with the quality of the Da Vinci code safe! Not only are they high quality metal devices, but they came with several added surprises that make this a wonderful gift for grandchildren.I created a six step treasure hunt that started off with a list of questions about Grandma and Grandpa and ended up with a six letter code for them to enter to get their surprise.I am confident this makes for a very memorable Christmas present!

We got our son a subscription type gift and wanted something more than just a note in a card to let him know what he was going to receive. This was the perfect holder for us to put info about the main gift on a small piece of paper while providing a gift in itself. He was excited to see the Cryptex and really enjoyed the challenge of figuring out the code. Much better than some of the puzzle boxes we have used for gift cards and such in the past and something he was very happy to receive. Highly recommend!

I plan on giving one of my boys a substantial cash gift this Christmas and have been searching for a special gift box. Boy, does this fit the bill...pun intended!This is HEAVY metal, heavier than anticipated.. The bronze makes it look rich, expensive and antiquish. The interior compartment is fairly small but should be able to accommodate the money I intend to gift. It would be perfect for love notes and such or for those who enjoy history, puzzles and/or all things mysterious.You do not need to set a combination as it will open when the letters read "ILOVEU". Assembly is required. I have not yet put this one together but the instructions appear to be well written and there are good photos in the product description. It comes in a nice hard box perfect for gifting.Very satisfied. IMO, well worth the price.UPDATE: THERE IS NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED...I was mistaken in my previous review.If you want to leave the code as "ILOVEU" the puzzle box is ready to use. You only need to disassemble if you want to change the code.Also, not mentioned above, is the enclosed set of engraved wedding bands (too small for these old eyes to read), super glue, two extra super tiny screws, a tiny phillips-head screwdriver, two cord necklaces ( I presume for the wedding bands), a card with a metal butterfly and a good instruction sheet. Looks like this is set up perfectly as a wedding proposal puzzle box. Hope this info is helpful.
