Very cool case! I was worried it was gonna be super bulky or non-protective, but this design was very well thought out. It's not much larger than the traditional silicon/rubber protective ones. The lights are SUPER bright and are both on the front and back with a single button that allows you to select between the two, as well as control dimming/brightening of either. It also feels likes heavy duty case, without feeling like a heavy duty case. It provides all over protection, and allows for your phone to be slighly raised from surfaces when placing it face down. It charges quickly and the charge will last up to 2 hours of use on full brightness. It's not only good for selfies and makeup photos, its excellent as a flashlight and brighter than the standard phone one. And also, I'm really shocked that it's under $100! The price definitely can't be beat! As far as it's durability, I haven't had any accidents yet. But I will update this review on the cases wear and longevity, but so far, I'm absolutely loving it, and will be hunting to see if i can find another one to fit my galaxy s7 edge.

This is my second LuMee case that I have purchased now, and I received it very quickly from the seller which was great. My first LuMee case was for my iPhone 6s and I purchased it in rose gold. The rose gold scratches very easily and looks dingy after a while, which is not ideal considering how expensive they are. This time I bought the matte black case, to match my black iPhone plus and I have higher hopes that this one won't scratch as easily. The case itself offers amazing lighting to take photos anywhere. Even if this new case scratches, I am a huge fan of LuMee and think they put out an amazing product. The battery will also last you quite a while as long as you're not always on the highest light setting. Overall, I love the case and it makes all the difference when I am taking photos. Regarding the fit of the cases: On my regular iPhone, it made my phone thicker but it wasn't bulky because the phone itself was not very large. It still fit easily into my pockets and bags, and I was able to use the phone as I normally do. It adds some weight to your phone of course, but that's something I like because I don't feel like I am going to drop it as easily. The case also fits very firmly onto the phone so if you do drop it, your phone will not come out. ***FYI: It seems like a lot of people don't understand how to get the phone out of the LuMee case. I didn't have any problem with that. All you need to do is push your phone out from the back using the hole that is made for your camera lens. Once you free a corner of your phone, you can pull it back out*** iPhone plus: It is pretty bulky on my iPhone plus but I also got a popsocket, which makes it easier to use. The bulkiness hasn't really bothered me though, because I knew what to expect. However, if you're new to the LuMee game just know that the thickness of your phone and the case is like stacking two iPhones on top of each other. That's roughly what you should expect.

I bought this product for my fiance as a gift because she's always 1.taking selfies and 2. uses the flash light on her phone. This product works fantastic for both cases. For selfies, it will take a shot with perfect lighting even in pitch black, and it works as a flashlight so well that I can't remember the last time she actually used her phone one. It is simple to turn on and off with the button on the back and the case itself isn't bulky or big. Great buy if you are always taking selfies.

4 stars for 2 reasons. 1 I bought it for myself for Christmas (I bought my teenage daughters one too) so I haven’t used it much, just a minute. It was great with the pictures I did take. 2. I have the iPhone 8 Plus, it’s all glass & I thought I was going to break it trying to get the phone out of the case. It would not come out! Thankfully it finally did but it was not easy! That was the only problem I had with it. Otherwise I love the dual lights! It made my pictures so much better with than without. I can not wait until Christmas to use it!

Pretty great case, love it for dark events, going to the club or other instances like that. The light is more on the yellow side than white so it isn't always flattering to the people or skins but overall it's a worth purchase. So hard to remove the first few times you put it on it almost feels like your phone will break haha.

I love the fact that it illuminates from the front and back of phone, but what I love most is that it holds a charge for a long time. I've only had it a couple of months but I only needed to charge it once, and let me tell you, I have an 8 year old who loves to take selfies so it gets used quite often. It also works great as a flashlight, which helped me out a few times. It is easy to hold, easy to use and easy to put on phone.

I rarely write bad reviews because I do a lot of research into virtually everything I buy, but I was so disappointed by this. Here's why: 1. Definitely Not as Bright as I Was Expecting I saw this case ALL over Instagram, saw how bright the lighting was and loved it. Much to my disappointment, this really isn't what it's chocked up to be. I took photos in all different light settings--bright, dark, dim, overcast, you name it--and my photos were lackluster. 2. Wildly Overpriced for What You Get I just can't justify the price tag for this. If it was made of a really solid material, maybe; but that's not the case here, no pun intended. It's just a cheap plastic and I knew that it wasn't going to last long at all. 3. Way Bulkier Than I Anticipated I knew this case was going to add bulk to my phone, without a doubt. But this case is bulky to the point where it was hard to even take photos with it on, which basically defeats the purpose of the case itself. All-in-all, I'd say this is a hard-pass for me. The price, subpar performance, and cheap quality made this an instant-return for me.
