It looks very nice. I love that the cord is Incased in plastic tubing. I worry the on off switch won’t last though. If I didn’t have a wall plug @ desk height instead of the baseboard height, the on & off switch would mean stooping over, because it is low in this cord.Plus, when hanging it, I had to create a loop from Velcro & a bungee cord or else it just slides down. It isn’t pretty. I think I will order the decorative duct tape to use instead.The lamp is bright. I can see well with it & my vision without glasses is legally blind. So that isn’t always the case with lamps. I might update after I have had it a while. Because long lasting is a goal. It came quickly & wasn’t damaged. Lately the packing from Amazon hasn’t had enough protective shipping inserts or padding added. We have received busted products because of that . Because UPS & Fed-Ex have been rough when setting our packages on the porch.So I was worried about the lamp. But it came through well protected.

I ordered this hanging light for my bedroom and it is actually perfect I hung it from a hook on the ceiling and put the court against the wall to plug-in the brightness is nice. It does not come with a lightbulb but that is fine I did not expect it to. It is just plain hanging light it looks nice I love it price is right

I needed a ceiling light in my home office since there is no built-in ceiling light in that room and been using table or computer desk lamps with limited success. I saw this and decided to give it a try for my home office room and it came in a few days in good shape. Easy to install and get some ceiling hooks because you will need them with this sort of lamp. I used several ceiling hooks to keep this lamp mounting over my work desk and several to guide the attached plug/cord to the wall and to the AC outlet. 60 watts light bulb is the max this lamp can safely use. I just used a 40 watt bulb and it works well enough for me. It has a ON/OFF flip switch on the cord. I wished that ON/OFF switch was placed a little higher up because it's near the AC outlet and I have to bend under my desk just to turn it on or off. Lamp shade is white plastic and looks good overall with a chrome-like top on it. Overall, 4 star rating for a pretty nice-looking ceiling light.

My kitchen has dark cabinets and walls so this light really brightened things up. Once we figured out how to use the Swag hooks (which took a couple of tries) it was easy. The lamp is very light weight. We hung it over the counter and it is so bright and I couldn't be happier.

Such a great price and it couldn't possibly be easier to "install" (as in, just screw a hook into your ceiling and you're done... or you can tack the cord to the edge of the wall to get fancy!). It has a nice clean look and doesn't look cheap, even though the shade is plastic (great for a kids' space). Functional, easy, immediate gratification. =) Please note - I gave it 5 stars because for $15, it's an incredible value and does everything I could wish for at that price. But don't buy it for compliments... it's just a regular 'ol lamp!

The flipper thingy broke off, leaving me in the dark, trapped between my dresser and craft cart. The cart wouldn’t move, so I had to pick it up and throw the thing and a box to free myself. Only way to get out of my desk area is to climb over a chair, tricky enough to do with light. Once freed, I saw that the light switch had fallen out, leaving me in the dark.I can’t afford a new light this month, so will need to fix it some how or figure out how to hang a lamp upside down.

These hanging lights are very good. Even though they are plastic they look nice and give good light and easy to clean. I have two in my kitchen.

Works really well for the price and is substantially lower cost than similar items. It's really lightweight and 2 simple hooks are all that is needed to keep it up. I didnt need any screw anchors to prevent the hooks from pulling out of the drywall because it is so light. Cord is a good length, switch is easy to use, and it can be hung anywhere you need a bit of extra light.

Lovely little light.It is cute and throws a lot of light! A bit flimsy but just fine for the dark corner in my office. 👍

If you do not have ceiling light this is an EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE. It is plastic but very nice looking. The cord has an on off switch on it for easy turning on and off. Cord is very long which is great. Would have been nice to have a hole or some type of bracket to attach to a ceiling hook but I wrapped a cloth cord around the electrical cord so it would not slide and hung it from that. Definitely would recommend.
