Effective at stopping drafts
Installed on an irregular shaped chimney - despite being twice the width I needed, it installed just fine. All you see is a tag dangling to remind family not to light a fire! Having experienced some big winter wind storms, I can confirm it works well and very noticeably stops drafts in the room. The room is warmer and more comfortable. Agree its a bit pricey, but very happy with product as its built to last, meaning it will never land up in landfill.

Hermétique mais pas assez épais il évite malgré tout de laisser passer l’air du conduit de la cheminée je crains que la poignée plastique ne dure pas très longtemps un peu souple dans la mise en place dans le conduit

Love my new chimney sheep. Exactly what I was looking for but didn’t know existed. Stops droughts and stops debris falling into my hearth. What an amazing product!

Keeps heat in
Since installing chimney sheep in my chimneys I have noticed less draft and wind noise, as well as taking less time for rooms to heat up. I live in a Victorian house so with cast iron fireplaces it is hard to insulate and keep cold air out. With these it keeps the aesthetic of the cast iron fireplace, without the cold drafts.
