The plugs arrived within 24 hours of order.Unfortunately, I have had to send them back and received a refund because of the following.Instead of the point of contact between the bottom of the plug and sink outlet being created by a rubber seal on the plug, there is a metal disc fitted. So when pushing the strainer/plug down to seal the sink outlet, this metal-to-metal contact allows water to drain at a remarkably swift rate.I have to admit this is my third failed attempt to find a strainer/plug which suits my sink outlet so it seems I simply have a problem which may not be one that many others have. The outlet fitting was supplied with a quite expensive porcelain sink and even thre plugs supplied with that do not do a good job at keeping the water in the sink!

Our IKEA kitchen is at least 20 years old and IKEA don't stock these sink strainer plugs any more. I did a lot of Googling and couldn't find any reviews on Amazon that mentioned IKEA, so in the hope that this helps you, I was delighted with these when they arrived as they fitted perfectly and if anything are better than the original plugs, as the little ball bearing in the spigot keeps the plug raised and it's a light push to close the plughole. Arrived quickly and I'm delighted.

Purchased this after carefully measuring my existing strainer plug which was the size indicated on the sellers listing. When the products arrived, the wouldn't push down and engage to stop the water running away and after measuring the diameter of the plug, found it to be 82mm and not 78mm as described in great detail by the seller.

[Upgrade 2] The rubber sealing ring is updated which is softer, more durable and not easy to deform; Under the rubber sealing ring, additional stainless steel spacer is added, making sure a better water storage performance of our strainer plug.Oh sure, but the rubber is half as thick as the replacement ones I've seen in local hardware stores.[Upgrade 3] Weighed 60g, OosoFitt Strainer Plug is amlost twice heavier than the others or the old version because of the usage of better stainless steel. It's more solid and durable.Utter rubbish. weighs half that - the steel is much much thinner than our usual ones.This is a downgrade, not an upgrade

Perfect. Does the job equally as well as its predecessor and the simple mechanism is identical too.I needed a replacement for one from a double Franke sink. The original sink strainer had disappeared - possibly accidentally thrown away with veg peelings.Anyway, I was concerned because the sink was installed 15 years ago and when I researched Franke accessories, it seems that the particular model has changed and no longer fits older sinks.This one is exactly the same as the remaining one ( only much shinier. )The only down side to all this positivity is I have now got to polish up the sink and drainer so it matches the shiny strainer.P.S It’s a twin pack so I now have a spare.
