Essential when installing seals and o-rings
I had a new axle seal leak on a Cadillac ATS. I replaced it with another seal, and used this Molykote to lube the axle shaft where the rubber seal meets the shaft. I spun the wheel a few times and let the car sit for a while. This seal doesn't leak a drop now. Molykote makes the rubber seal expand slightly, and it works.
