Lactic acid is perfect for my skin. It’s not too harsh. Exfoliating is important, but some products are too much for my sensitive skin. This one is the sweet spot. I like the price, too.

I have been using this lactic acid formulation to treat my underarm darkness and excess pit stink, and it has been working a charm! Very very gentle, I haven’t had problems with irritation or dryness. It’s easy to spread and has been effective in reducing my need for deodorant.

I have used the 10% version of this product as well as the 5%. I have super super sensitive skin, and though I cannot use this on my face I have noticed the scars on my legs mildly lightening since I started using it 3 months ago. I wouldn't say it is a quick process by any means, but I can definitely tell there is lightening which I'm very happy about! I have hyper pigmentation and scar easily. However I do recommend the 10% over the 5% and mixing with a favorite lotion.
