Caution! If these have worked for you, you are lucky!
Returning. Useless product. Chinese copy of the US made Alden proGrabit screw extractors...and a poorly executed copy. I use the proGrabits professionally. They are great and have never let me down. My business involves the marine and aviation industries. Today, I just tried getting two 10-24 stainless phillips flat head machine screws out of one of our units. No corrosion but I use the proGrabits because the screws have anti-tamper lacquer in the phillips recess and it is much faster than cleaning the paint out of the recess to engage a #2 phillips bit into it. First of all, the Aisxle bit would not fit into the 1/4 hex recess of my drill on account of burrs. Once that was taken care of, I drilled the first pilot hole to the proper depth. The pilot hole drilled "way" oversize because the flutes were ground improperly (great QC on the production line...see pix) The two flutes are at least 20 degrees different from each other and they "wobbled" their way down the screw. Next, the #2 bit would not even begin to engage into the hole. So I put the #3 bit into the drill and it started to grab, but before the screw broke loose, the extractor just slipped with no further possibilities except to drill out the head of the screw. Please look closely at the picture of the comparison between the Alden (US) product and the Aisxle (Chinese) product, both #2 extractors. The difference in the quality of the bar stock and the quality of the machining is dramatic. Please don't support these Chinese copies of a really good, well designed product. I got sucked in because of price...and regret the purchase. The reason I bought these was for a backup in case the Aldens failed I didn't know they were made in China. Luckily, Amazon is really good with returns and this is not a reflection on them. BUT, I will order the real deal (Alden) and continue using this amazing product. BTW, I have removed over 25 screws with the Alden #2 bit pictured, stainless and steel, some almost totally rusted, using an impact drill, and the grip never let go. The Aisxle bit pictured tried to remove two. Nuff said.

don’t waste your money or ruin your project
This product is a worthless! The teeth aren’t long enough to grab the screw to retract it. The only thing it did was make sure that I could never get that screw out by grinding off any bit of the screw I had left! Doesn’t perform as it promises... don’t waste your money or ruin your project!

Didn't Work For Me - It Did Not Grip
This didn't work for me for some pan head screws. After drilling the pilot hole, reversed bit and tried the gripping head. All it did was spin and actually burnished the hole. Repeated with larger and larger bit, same result. I ended up using a drill bit and drilled the entire head of the screw off. It appears that the threads are not sharp or the bit metal is not hard enough to bite. Save yourself some money and extra work and get a better higher quality product.

Might work
Tried to use it on a slotted screw and it didn’t work well at all. I drilled it in to make the hole so it can be drilled out and it did nothing at all. And since my slotted crew wasn’t flat because the builder of the house stripped it, the sharp part of the bit slipped and hurt my finger that my finger is still in pain.So this may work on Phillips screws. I’m not sure. But if you have a slotted screw, it didn’t work for me.

Above and beyond what I had hoped for.
I don't think they are designed for this type of duty, but I was able to remove a lawnmower bolt that sheared off when the blade went bananas and tried to cut my feet off. If they can handle that ugly scenario, they can handle most any job. They save me at least $300 that it would have cost for a new mower. The glod color is nice, but I would have preferred sliver or rbonze.

Reverse drill bit alone works better than the 'extractor' for removing damaged screws
It works, but not as intended or per the instructions. When I follow the instructions to remove damaged cabinet hinge screws it doesn't work. After 'drilling out' the screw, the 'extractor' side of the bit doesn't grip the hole. Instead, I use strong pressure and just use the reverse drill bit to back-out the screws.

Nice
I bought these just in case I'd need to use them and within 2 days of getting them I had to use it. There were no instructions to tell you your drill has to be in reverse for the whole operation, once I figured that out, it was a breeze

Be aware!!!
I got them to work decently on some light work screws but they did not perform well at all on a 1/4 in bolt. this product does not compare to the original in that respect at all. If you but this product just know its a very light duty kit not able to handle bolts or tough screws.
