Pirchased April 2023. As of October 2024, fountain still working. Pros: Low noise. Unless water is low, then the pump makes noise (make sure to fill, as it may affect pump function). Good water volume. Currently have 1 German Shepherd (85lbs). Have to add water every other day. Mayve daily on hotter months. Filtration. If you know GS dogs, you know they shed a lot. And there is usually a lot of food backwash in the water bowls. This does a good job at filtering the hair and food and anything else out of the drinking water area. The dog definitely prefers to drink out of the fountain than any of his water bowls. Neutral... Cleaning. Neutral since I'm sure this is common to most. Overall not bad, but the little nooks and crannies of the pump are a little difficult to get to. Must use very small brush and or brush with long bristles to get into them. Cons: Pump filter info. Nowhere in the information provided or the product information on here, was I able to find information on the filter for the pump itseld. The small little filter that goes on thr bottom of the pump. However, I was able to figure out alternative below in tips. Tips and Products Info >>Cleaning: biweekly I give a very quick rinse, then run the fountain with hot water and white viniger. Let it run about 5 minutes. Then wash the fountain and pump. I find this helps clean out the fountain and pump a lot easier afterwards. Helps get rid of any buildup. Weekly, you can give a quick rinse and refill. Pump filter. Purchased below option of different bigger filter. And you can cut to split it into 3 or 4. I prefer 3. Works perfect and last a while. Super easy to assemble. It took some doing to get my dog to drink from it but he finally did. Once he did he seemed okay with it. I’ll probably only use it when leaving him with a pet sitter which was my intention from the beginning...mainly cause I don’t feel good about the plastic. It is very quiet. It holds a lot of water. The water appeared to remain clean and only needed topping off. It’s a challenge to tell for sure where the water level is but it’s doable. It’s easier to hear when it’s getting low than it is to see it. It took about a week to get him comfortable enough to drink from it. I had it out about three weeks before my trip and was gone approximately one week. I cleaned it once after the second week but he’d only been drinking from it for about a week. I meant to clean again prior to my departure but ran out of time. The filter stank and look like it was starting to mold when I cleaned it after returning home. The unit itself and water seemed okay. He has an unusually slobbery mouth. I suspect that’s why the filter had had it! The fact the bowl and water seemed clear is remarkable. Thankfully, they provided two filters with the initial purchase and they’re reasonably priced. All in all I’m very pleased with my purchase.

overall, it's a decent water fountain and does what it says it'll do. there are a few things i'd change about it, which is why i deducted a star. i changed to this water fountain because it had a larger capacity than my previous one and i wouldn't have to fill it up so often for my cats. when i put it together and went to fill it up, i realized there were some shortcomings. there is no light on the inside, so for my setup where it's not very bright, it's hard to see exactly where the water line is without taking the entire lid off. when filling it up, i had to use a flashlight to see how full it was, not to mention it was very hard to see where the max line was to see if it was full or not. either have a light on the pump or have a little clear window to see the water level better. secondly, i do wish there was auto-shut off. it's nice to know that the pump won't keep running when the water level gets too low. i don't inspect the water fountain every day, so if it gets too low while i'm away for the day, it won't keep pumping. my third little annoyance about it is that you have to unplug the fountain at the wall to take it to the sink to clean. my previous water fountain had a great feature where you could unplug the power supply at the base of the water fountain for easy cleaning. the pump had a 10" cord coming off of it that would go over the side of the fountain and would plug into a separate cord that would plug into the wall. it was brilliant. i didn't have to fuss unplugging the cord from the wall, which was behind some furniture and then put it back and feed it through. unplug the fountain on the bottom from the power source and go. i bought extra cords to go with this fountain to fix that issue, and also bought a small aquarium light to go into the dish to hopefully help with the light water level issue. auto shut off should be a standard feature on all pet water fountains. overall, it's a larger water fountain and looks better than my previous one. i love the big water reservoir for the cats to drink from, but the pump needs an auto shut off, light, and an easier way to unplug the power to clean the fountain. the type of filter is also nice and a good upgrade from my previous filter. this will catch debris much better. would buy it again, but they need to upgrade the pump.

I got this for my dog who's a a little large and has dry mouth. We were constantly having to refill his smaller water bowl and there would be times we wouldn't realize it was low unless he shifted it around to tell us it was empty lol. This has a much larger capacity and was easy to set up. I love that it has the filter for hair and smaller things that might get into his water. I was originally looking for one that had a stronger filter to purify out tap water, but we just buy purified anyway. It has a cute circulation system where it comes up just like a fountain, so it's always circulating through that smaller filter. Even with his dry mouth, we fill it up once every 3-4 days and he's good to go due to the large capacity. It's not super bulky and fits well where his old one used to be. When the water gets low it starts to make a kind of low noise. It's very cute and he's done fine with it so far. When full it makes no noise, so it won't scare your fur baby. Definitely recommend!

We have cats and dogs which we use separate water fountains for. So we have gone through our fair share of water fountains, honestly way more than we should have. This one by far is the BEST one we’ve ever owned. We are now on year 4 of this fountain and no issues! Every other one we’ve owned lasted no more than 1 year. We also found a stand that holds this one up off the ground nicely. This brand is amazing we got a cat one in this brand after we saw how good this one held up and that one has been going over a couple years now strong too! Thank you for making a quality product!

I as well as my pets loved this fountain. It was so quiet and I loved that the filter cleaned all of the yucky gunk out of the water. The moving water seemed to encourage my cat to drink more water. However I am so disappointed that the pump burned out at the 2 and a half month mark. I always made sure the water level was good always made sure it was clean; I checked to make sure it wasn’t the adapter that was bad it is in fact the pump itself. I was really hoping it would have lasted at least a year. I can’t say I wouldn’t buy it again because I would and probably will see if I can purchase a new pump; for for what it cost I would have hoped for longer than 2 and a half months.

I bought this automatic dog water fountain with filter to use for my dog. He doesn't drink enough water, and I thought getting something with moving water may help increase how much he drinks. I must say that it definitely has made a difference! This water fountain bowl is mad eof high quality, thick and durable stainless steel, so it won't rust and will definitely last a long time. I love that this water fountain bowl also has a filter! It's great to be able to provide ideas filtered water for my dog. This bowl is a definite upgrade for my dog! Love that it can hold over a gallon of water. I find myself filling it up less often, and the water stays fresher longer as well. I also love how quiet this is! It doesn't make a lot of sound and it's not disruptive to my household. This is luxury for your pet!!

I would highly recommend NOT buying this product if you need it long term or own high shed breeds. I'm a dog sitter that has up to 6 dogs in my care at any given time. So I needed something large I wasn't going to refill every 2 hours, and this worked great for that. However, it had its faults. The fountain piece runs into a cove ontop of the water dish to hold the water for the dogs to drink. To avoid overflow, the fountain has a series of small holes in the front for the water to drain back into the bottom and feeds it back to the pump to cycle. I board a lot of long haired dogs, a lot of long haired dogs means a lot of hair everywhere. Those tiny drain holes in the bowl? CONSTANTLY plugged by dog hair. Too many times, the pump would start making noise because "the water was low" but in all actuality it was just accumulating at the top of the bowl because it couldn't drain down. After about 3 months of using it, it would occassionally start making sounds like it was low even though it was full at both the top and the bottom. Once it made a low POP in the middle of the night for no reason and scared my boyfriend awake. Then it finally just stopped working completely after 5 months of use. That's all we got. FIVE months of use for $53.

Using this with 4 bulldogs. I got a couple of smaller ones before and had to replace one, so I took a chance on this one. It's a little more expensive but overall it holds much more water, so less trips to refill it. Easy to clean and a large drinking area and larger water spout area means more filtering and less spilling by the dogs. Planning to buy a second one for the other room to replace the smaller one we had.

No, our one year King Charles didn't like that and we respect some modern drinking bowl, and bowl full with water is so not comfortable to transfer and very heavy, plastic so sharp and tin, not worse to pay this money

Water dish is perfect for our German Shepherd, perfect size, easy to fill and clean. We purchased it December 29 and the pump died May 9. I wrote a review not recommending this product and within a week I received a messaged from the company offering to fix the problem. A week later I received a new pump.

I buy this with no expectation and it turn out really great! It come with a long cord to plug it, 2 brushes to clean the parts, 2 charcoal filter. Its easy to clean and most important practicly no noise! The only down side is that the top move a little bit to easily in my opinion so its better to refiled it with a cup instead of putting it in the sink to fil and move it after. I made a mess the first time.. Im really happy with it and i would recommand it to anybody.
