Walker's Shortbread Stem Ginger Biscuits, Scottish Cookies, 5.3 Oz (Pack of 6)

Delicious shortbread cookies. A lot of pieces of candied ginger make these cookies irresistible. Will definitely be ordering again and again!!!

The best gingered biscuits ever. They have the optimal crunchy-ness and tiny bits of candied ginger. We eat these year round. Glad to be able to order these from Amazon at a great price, year round.

Okay, not for everyone but I love the flavor and the sharp tang of ginger in these. Great cookie company, and these are rather unique.

Best Ginger Biscuits I have ever had so far. I like the big chucks of ginger in them.

I have eaten far too many of these biscuits over the years. I bought a six pack recently and discovered that the biscuits inside were different. Usually they are quite crunchy, and the ginger chunks are chewy (harder than gummy bear consistency). All of these were lighter in colour, slightly thicker I think, had the consistency of a sugar cookie (not quite cake-y but heading that way), the ginger pieces were almost imperceptible because they were much softer, and the aftertaste was slightly unpleasant. Because of Amazons (recently adopted) policy of not accepting any returns on 'grocery items' (buyer beware!), I had to deal with Walkers directly. They told me that the product was indeed a Stem Ginger Cookie, end of story. So I discarded them (actually I returned them to Walkers) and will never buy them again. Great shame, I used to love these, but it's probably better for my health, because I would mow through them pretty quickly.

These cookies are great. Very, very hard to find in the grocery store.

I fell in love with these cookies when my parents got it for me from UK way back in 2005. Since then I buy them whenever I find them, be it in India or abroad. Not to mention they are absolutely delicious. I had never tasted the stem ginger flavour and so when I saw this product listed on Amazon, I didn't hesitate. They are buttery, soft and just melt in your mouth. And they have a ginger flavour too! Amazon sweetened the deal by putting it in the "lightning deals" section at a price of Rs 208. The box had an expiry date till Nov 2015 and the MRP was Rs 260. The package had a lot of inflatable plastic airbags to prevent the cookies from any external damage. One of the best packaging ever seen by Amazon. And trust me guys, people who say that these are too sweet should know that cookies are never meant to be anything other than sweet!

Die Kekse selbst sind lecker; gewohnte Qualität von Walker eben. Mit der Post würde ich sie jedoch nicht mehr schicken lassen, hatte zu viel Bruch zu verzeichnen. In zahlreichen Fächern waren Brocken und Krümel, statt der erwarteten Kekse. Wie sollte ich die Kekse also, wie ursprünglich geplant, in dem Zustand zum Teil verschenken?
