My lighting guy suggested switching to 24 v
I bought based on a recommendation of the guy at my lighting store. 24v transformer will reduce the amps (Heat) that is delivered to the bulb compared to the same 12v setup. I did need to buy different bulbs. But the process of replacing was easy and everything went as expected. Now I just need to wait and see. The old 12v setup gave me trouble for 10 years but I loved the warm dimmed light compared to LED. So fingers crossed!
