I bought these for general exercise including running and swinging/using kettlebells. For the small amount of running I do, they've been fine. The phone pocket works well enough, but if you have a huge phone it might be an issue. Swinging a kettlebell works well. I always had to hike regular shorts way up to ridiculous levels so the handle is the bell would clear them. These are tight enough that isn't a problem and don't have to wear tiny shorts or biker shorts...neither of which would make me feel very comfortable, lol.These are reasonably tight, which I wanted, though not at all spandex tight. If your "backside" is large, these might be kind of tight even if you are the same weigh.It's worth noting that the inner part is NOT compression shorts. While tight, they just aren't that tight nor are they heavy enough to compress. Also, the exterior is a pretty heavy material, much thicker and heavier than standard basketball type shorts. They remind me of gym teacher shorts, lol. I haven't used them thru the summer yet and I'm at least a little concerned they will get warm in outdoor workouts. Also, the front pockets are fairly shallow and thus not very usable, especially for running. However there is a small zippered pocket that will hold a key, small amount of cash, card, etc. The towel holder thing in the back is kinda strange, but useful!All in all I'm happy with them and will probably order another pair.

Lightweight, comfortable, great fit, great quality, easy to wash, nice colors, and an overall great value.

These are by far the best workout shorts I have owned. The cloth, fit, and styling are amazing. One of the main qualities is compression and I’ll say those are not the tightest fit but that could depend on everyone’s thigh size I’m not sure (even though wait is perfect fit for me). Anyway, I absolutely love these and a lot of small details are thought about like the zippered pocket and towel loop (don’t use it, but its nice) and not easy to get such nice fit and stylish. Ordered another one soon after.

These are perfect gym shorts as it has inner layer for extra protection and a good quality shorts for everyday running etc.,There is a n inner layer which has a secret pocket, with the other 3 pockets around the short for safe workout or running.It is very light weighted but the inner layer sticks to the things and gives a stealthy look from outside.Very good working out shorts as it gives great comfort and performs great in the gym while doing squats etc.,Machine washable or hand washable good quality clothing material.I recommend this for all gym goers as this gives complete athletic look and comfortable feeling!

I bought these shorts for the gym, and they fit well. My personal preference these shorts aren't a right fit for my style. By the time I went to use these shorts I had missed the deadline for a return, so now they just sit in my dresser.

I really like these shorts! They're exactly what I was looking for to hold my Samsung mobile phone while working out. The Camo White (white/grey/brown) color looks great, and the fit is perfect. My phone sits comfortably in the pocket and doesn't interfere with my workouts, except for maybe hip abduction exercises. The inner compression shorts are a nice touch, it's worth noting that they don't have a pouch to hold your junk, that would be an improvement, but they are still quite comfortable. The front pockets are deep, and the towel holder is a handy feature. Plus, the 'invisible zipper pocket' at the top of the right front pocket, is perfect for my car key. It's not too deep and positioned well, so it doesn't get in the way during workouts. Definitely recommend.
