Review: 5 stars for the book . P.M Narsimha Rao is a scholar who talks in 17 languages as far as I know. Though me being an admirer of the former P.M and the review might seem biased, the book is quite new when it was released to the general public about the going ons in politics. Though politics is an ever human existence concept , it gives new insight about characters involved and their traits and qualities. It tells us about different people with various traits and how to handle them through intelligence or by nature taking it's own course. Definitely a good read . The reader would feel engaged through out the book. Review: It is a must read for every political fanatic in the sub-continent. It's academic work at its best from a man we failed to understand. This is understanding India from within.

Book content is good but the printing on some of the pages is not dark..that's the only thing lagging and in fact the biggest thing.

Good material on post-Independence history from a person who has seen it all and who was right there in the thick of things. It was revealing to know election freebies started in the first general elections itself! So much for lack of communications and people's naivete back then!! He is quite candid even about his extra-marital affair. Explains everything from his boyhood days to his elevation as the Prime Minister.

A chronicle of the post-independence politics of India. It also takes you back to life and times in the period. P V seems to have had a keen sense of observation for life around him.He also has a racy style and does not linger unnecessarily on any one subject or person.I love the book but I am not finished with it.
