Excellent support for bathing and other matters in a bathroom. The grab bars make it easy for the elderly and anyone with physical challenges.

I sent these back because I decided to go with the 16" bars. This is a good product but you have to provide your own wall anchors. The wood screws are to short to penetrate dry wall and stud deep enough to make them safe. They provide dry wall anchors but you don't want to trust them to hold Mom if she slips and falls. An 8yo could rip these of the wall if not fastened to studs or with some sturdy wall anchors.Again this is a good product, if you can't DIY, hire a professional.Sadly, after I installed 2 x 24" bars and 2 x 16" bars my dad had a stroke within 60 days and is now bedridden. $100 bucks and time wasted. :)

When I first opened the package I was surprised by the narrow diameter of the bar. It turns out they are the perfect size for the smaller shower I was installing them in. The knurled grip is very nice and they mounted very securely. Because you get to install the attaching plate at the end of each bar you can position the screw holes to avoid being near the edge of tile.PRO TIP...be sure to position the screw holes so that one does not end up directly under the bar...position them so that you can use your impact driver to tighten all the screws.I used after markets anchors based on previous comments on this product and that worked well. I had to drill through porcelain tile and had to upgrade my drill bit mid-install.

my brother was on disability & we needed to put grab bars on the 2 steps from our kitchen to family room. These fit well & liked how textured metal. Just need to make sure can attach to a stud or need to put wood underneath that can attach to studs
