Saved me!
I recently bought new braided power cords for my gaming/work monitors, thinking that since they are the same brand the cables would be the same (one is FHD the other is 4K). Found that this was not the case as only one was a c14, while my 4K monitor was a C6. I was looking to find and purchase another power cord. Since my power cords are Red to match all the other cables and monitor accents of my setup, I wasn't able to find one. I was able to give up when my search results had this on the top of the Search Results list. I didn't know that this kind of adapter existed, but I am glad it does. This worked out perfectly and now my setup is good to go as my Red cabling is complete!

Very Handy
These allow me to stock only C14 power cords of various lengths and still install power for those devices that use the spooky C5 power connector. Creates neat installations.

Meh.
It gets the job done, but it doesn't make a very tight grip, so it wiggles which can be rather precarious when you're using this on a laptop battery cable.

Used this to bail myself out of a situation where an electrician hard-wired the wrong cable to an IDF. Worked great.
