Works well.
Very good lapping compound. Used to clean up a crappy fitting bolt in my rifle.

Works nice.
Got this as a finish grinding step for my reel lawn mower (I wanted a sharper, finer edge).

Good
Good quality compound should be used with a good oil

Worked well to polish AR10 feed ramp
This is a great polish for mirror-like finish on steel. I used it to polish my feed ramps which gave me a lot of scratches on new 308 brass. Now they shine like cat’s cohones and I have no scratches on brass anymore.

It works...
It works..that is what counts....seems like it was a bit dry, but never having used anything like this before I just went with it...works fine...enough in the bottle to last through a lot of polishing... :0)

This is only a lapping and polishing grit compound
This Wheeler 600 grit compound is frequently described as the correct product to use when truing a flat surface such as a bicycle bottom bracket or firearm receiver face. It is not. What I found is that 600 grit takes far too long to do an adequate job. This product is a fine polishing compound, suitable only for polishing slightly rough bores or lapping aluminum scope rings. For truing the face of a forged aluminum receiver, I found that ordinary Permatex 80037 four grit (120/220) valve grinding compound is much cheaper and works much faster. With the latter you can just rotate the facing tool with your fingers to get the desired level surface...and without taking off too much metal.
