Good buy and high quality

High Quality SOF-T
SOF-T's are easy to use and easy to carry. They have a bit smaller profile than a CAT and easily fit in an ankle IFAK. I like the orange color as it makes it easier to quickly identity the location on the injured person.

SOF > CAT7
The real deal. These are not fakes. Solid built metal components on the buckle, and windlass. Recommend the SOF over the CAT7 if you’ve got the money for them. They can shave off valuable seconds when trying to apply to an arterial bleed, and that’s worth an extra 20$-30$ in my opinion.

Great TQ
Very pleased with the quality and ease of use on the SOF-T. This one is the genuine article shipped by amazon. In an emergency, you're probably not going to care if it's a CAT or SOF-T, but if you have the option I definitely think this is a more versatile package, particularly because of the Buckle which can be opened to slide under instead of just around and injured person. In the case of something like leg or arm entrapment it could quite literally be the difference between life and death. Also if you hunt around, you will find that you can link two of these together to stabilize a pelvic fracture. This also presents a smaller package which is important if it's going in a small ifaK or pouch.

Compact and well made
This TQ is small enough to fit in my front pocket without excessive bulk. I carry it daily. Appears to be very well made and simple to use.

Works but not idiot proof and risks slack
Compared with the CAT, this has no Velcro, which is good in muddy environments. But releasing and setting the slotted quick release requires a twist and steep angle, taking more thought in an emergency. It is also harder to get sufficiently tight that you can't force three fingers under it before tightening the ribbon. I would consider it less reliable than the CAT or SAM-XT.
