Borneo 110 Gallon Resin Deck Box - Organization and Storage for Patio Furniture, Outdoor Cushions, Throw Pillows, Garden Tools and Pool Toys, Brown

Bought this to use for outdoor storage of our sons toys. Has lots of room inside and is very sturdy. I weigh 200+ lbs and when I sat on it for a few minutes it felt pretty sturdy. Only took me 10 minutes to put it together. If you look at the instructions closely and compare the parts it goes together fairly easily. Pro’s: 1. Very easy to assemble. Only needed a Phillips head screw driver to put it together. 2. Very sturdy plastic construction. 3. Weatherproof. It rained heavily immediately after I put it outside and there were zero leaks. 4. Pleanty of room for storage. Inside dimensions are 45” x 23.25” x 21.5” (LxWxH) 5. Looks great 6. Light weight for moving it around. 7. “Breathing” holes to prevent moisture from building up inside and forming mildew. 8. Price: I paid $85 and comparable sizes were $100+ so I feel this was a pretty good deal. Cons: 1. There are tiny air holes on the bottom around the edge and side panel (pictured). So if you’re looking for something as a way to keep 100% of all bugs out this won’t be ideal. The holes aren’t big enough for for bees, wasps, hornets, etc to get through but small bugs (ants, spiders) could get in. For me this wasn’t an issue so I’m not going to take any stars for that. 2. The latches for using a lock are metal but are screwed in with a single screw to the plastic so don’t expect this to keep someone from breaking into it. (Pictured) Will work good for keeping it shut during storms and kids from being able to open it but not much else. Again not why I bought this so not a concern for me.

Bought this 110gal version to store a large blow up pool and pool accessories. Came yesterday, along with another Keter item I’d ordered. Probably took about 20-30 minutes to assemble by myself. Good quality. All the pieces were there, no trimming issues. Everything can be put together with just your hands, until you need to attach the lid. You’ll need a screwdriver for that. Electronic screwdriver or power drill works best. I only lightly consulted the assembly instructions since everything looked pretty straightforward. Fits everything I need it to. Also fit me and 3 kids inside. Lol. It’s sturdy. It looks very nice. It’s very easy to move and doesn’t scrape my deck surface. Also, I’m 155-160ish pounds and can sit on it alongside my kids and it doesn’t buckle. It rained last night and today and things seem to be dry. Maybe use a lock to secure the lid down in case of high winds though. Can also be used as a table but the lid is slightly rounded, so maybe not the best to sit a wine glass on. Highly recommend.

Love it. It’s really big, and fits lots of stuff, and looks nice in the yard. Not like the old plain gray rubber-made looking thing I had for years. The lid stays up, with no risk of it falling down on your head while you are digging around it. It is also water proof. I sprayed it with the hose to test it. I store my sons nerf guns in it, and he has a lot. When he outgrows those, it will be great to store patio furniture pads. And it is definitely sturdy enough to sit on, if you need extra seating. Love it! It was also very easy to assemble. We just had one tiny issue, where the closing mechanisms between the lid and the chest itself didn’t line up quite right. We kind of had to force it to close correctly, and then I left it in the sun for a day, which softened up the plastic material enough that it corrected itself and now works perfectly.

This chest is big and waterproof. It was easy to assemble. It holds all of the cushions for our deck furniture, when the cushions are out, we put the covers inside, keeps the deck looking nice and uncluttered. The only issue is the latch to close it is machined poorly and the screws do not go flush allowing the latches to wiggle. Since the screws stick out a little there is always a danger of catching and ripping fabric, I had to put some tape over the screws, luckily they are on the inside so it still looks nice. Because the latch is loose, you can't really overstuff this chest as it won't latch close properly, not that you would, but something to keep in mind. Added bonus, since we keep it on the deck, we often use it as a staging area for the BBQ grill, great place to put the condiments and plates/napkins/utensils.

This is our second purchase of the Keter Outdoor Storage Deck Box. What a pleasure assembling this unit. It took a matter of 15 minutes using nothing but a screwdriver (for the latch) and a small rubber mallet. All pieces just snap into place. We did have a factory defect on one of the side walls. I just completed a new parts form on the Keter website and 4 days later received the new part. Previously, we purchased a different brand metal storage box which took over 14 hours of tedious assembly. If you are looking for a beautiful, simple assembly storage box, I highly recommend this Keter Outdoor Storage Deck.

This is a well design, very sturdy product and very easy to assemble actually bought two of them. Both of them were great. You get what you pay for excellent product

Great value so far. Just the right size, easy to put together and we’re had rain everyday for the last week and it’s kept our cushions none dry. Plus it serves as extra seating if needed.

I am pleased with this sturdy deck box so far. It arrived flat packed which made it easy to move into the backyard. I found it a breeze to assemble by myself with the hardware provided and I had no issues with the pieces aligning. The box holds my patio seat cushions, all 8 of them when it rains. We had a summer storm already, with rain and hail, and the box remained watertight. It looks attractive on the deck and the lock on the box is a nice feature as well. I highly recommend this purchase.

El armado es sumamente sencillo y rápido, el baúl es resistente (lo suficiente para mantener a una persona adulta sentada sobre él - 80kg), es bastante amplio y su resistencia al agua está comprobada. Si bien no es hermético (si el nivel de agua sube esta se filtratá por debajo) mantendrá las cosas en su interior secas aún ante una fuerte lluvia).

I am so impressed with this deck storage unit. It is large - just what I wanted - and sturdy. It holds 3 good-size fold-up deck chairs, 4 misc lawn games, my winter storage of safety salt and there is room to spare. And it seems to be water-tight.

This unit was incredibly simple to assemble, even for one challenged with such tasks. It took about 15 minutes for full assembly. It looks great and is remarkably sturdy when I sat on it.
