Plastic
This worked very well for grating parma over salad, spaghetti, pizza, etc. But it did not handle when the cheese got a bit harder from just age in the fridge. The plastic is not the strongest and broke after trying to grind some harder cheese (may have been to old). For a single guy, I don't go through cheese fast enough, for a family it would be perfect.I replaced it with a stainless steel one, but that one is stamped steel, and has sharp edges, which makes the usage very difficult, I think this is a far better product despite the durability. Stainless is also harder to grate and clean

Cheaply made but appropriate for price
It’s ok. I should have purchased a metal one but it’ll do.

Nice for fine grated chocolate
Was a great inexpensive choice for shredding chocolate into pancakes

Great for money
The press handle is a bit too short and the turn handle has to be gently twisted off to clean. The cheese clumps occasionally but you have to press handle gently and turn gently. If you do that it works fine. Still occasional clump.

Definitely good quality for the price
As a college student, I wanted the cheapest one of these I could find that was relatively durable. Definitely good quality for the price, but I won’t be surprised if it breaks.. As long as it lasts me until graduation I’ll be a happy camper

Flimsy, hard to use
We had one of these when I was a kid and I remember how easy it was to grate cheese in it. This one is incredibly hard to use - it's a struggle especially with harder cheeses like parmesan. I'm pretty sure it's going to break after a few uses as it requires a lot of force to use. Going to try and send back as I just keep pulling out my box grater since the rotary one is fairly useless.

It works! Not too hard to clean. Great price.
At this price, I was worried this wouldn't work well. I don't use this very often, so I didn't want to spend too much on it. This works well for the price. I was only going to use it on hard cheeses, but it works well on softer cheeses as well. As expected, if you use it on softer cheeses, the pieces get impacted inside making it harder to clean. However, this is typically of these rotary graters. Good buy.

It broke in 2😭
I bought it in September, and 3 days ago it broke in 2. The handle completely separated from the body of the grater. I wish I had bought the sturdier expensive on, it would had lasted longer. Cheap stuff don't last. Lesson learned. I wish I hadn't throw it away, would have posted a picture.

The first time I used it, I knew it would break.
Looked good in the pictures, but the handle seemed suspect the first time I used it. I used it v-e-r-y gently the two times I used it, so it wasn't easy to use. When my son got his tradesperson's hands on it, I told him to be gentle, but he's used to using real tools, not make-believe ones. Looking at the picture, you can see the torque exerted on the handle easily overwhelms the tiny plastic tabs' strength. Ridiculous design. On inspection it was obvious this "cheese-grater" is actually a decoration. Sadly, it belongs in a drawer, so no-one would see it anyway.

Well Made But Of Disappointing Size
I really wanted to get a rotary cheese grater to expedite the process and this looked like a good bet. Unfortunately when it arrived I discovered that it's really small and, therefore, a little on the expensive side for what it is. I guess I should've read the description more carefully but I was kinda expecting something of sufficient diameter in the grater barrel to allow the cheese to fall freely out rather than clogging it up. With this in mind, therefore, I'd suggest that this is a good grater for harder cheeses like Parmesan, Manchego or Pecorino Romano but softer cheeses like young Cheddar or Gloucestershire just bung it up like the MV Ever Given did the Suez Canal. ;-) On the plus side, it IS easy to clean, as long as you can figure out that the way to disengage the handle from the barrel is to turn it backwards / CCW. There, I've told you now and you won't get as frustrated as I did. So, in summary, if you're a hard cheese user this product will be okay but consider yourself fairly advised.

Dollarstore-like item that works
Like the title says it: a dollarstore item that, thanks to the Amazon Chinese economy, costs 5x more than it should. If you get over this, it works relatively well (the handle may come off every now-and-then during use), is easy to clean and so far has lasted 1 month of use. The handle attachment to the grater is what concerns me, looks a bit weak.May 19, 2021 update: after 5 months of use (I estimate actual usage to be 5-6 times, mainly on walnuts) the handle broke. Exactly as expected. The tabs of the handle that lock into the grater are just too weak and poorly designed (no radii to where they blend the handle!!). It is completely not repairable so off to the garbage it goes. Strongly not recommended unless the manufacturer updates the design and shape. Pictures for reference of breakage added.

Broke apart after a few times
It broke apart after I used it for a few times. First the grater started removing plastic off the inside drum and the handle broke apart. Such a pity.

Not bad
I was a bit disappointed because my mom has a similar one but hers really grates Parmesan quite well. You can put much into this one and it’s a bit slippery when trying to use it.They are all difficult to clean unfortunately, I just put mine in the fridge to keep
