If you already have some knowledge of for example, Time Value of Money, or Security Valuation and looking for reliable "know how" to create more sophisticated financial modeling (e.g., equity valuation), this book is the answer. But if you are the beginners who want to start learning financial equations, theory or fundamental concepts, this is not the one.

Had the fourth edition. Got the fifth! R scripts are a great addition! (Sorry, Mr. Gates)This is simply the best finance book available to practicioners. Just enough theory to prove why solutions are rigourously correct. Covers all the necessary topics that I have encountered in my 30 + year carrer as a finnacial analyst. Nothing less, nothing more. Every single page of that book is of practical interest.,

Ricco preciso interessante pieno di esempi in Excel ed i RUtilissimo

This is one of the best texts on financing that also is Excel focused. It provided a good baseline for those of us who got our MBA years ago and no need to revive. I really appreciate the format of the book and supporting information.

This book is awsome! I am currently pursuing a certification in finance and this book covers every item on the syllabus with practical examples. Not to mention the added Excel tips and insights.
