This clock is great value for money. I have read reviews saying it is difficult to use and while it can be a tiny bit tricky with all the buttons, especially if you wait until night time to set it when you are tired, I don't see how they could make it much simpler given that there are so many options e.g. brightness, sound, volume, 2 alarm options, snooze function and sunset option. I would set aside 20 minutes to read the instructions and just practice before you need to go to bed, and keep the instruction manual next to the bed until you get used to it.I love that you can turn off the time display at night which provides an alarm clock with no annoying light interfering with sleep. The light options are so varied and the sunset option is really great, sometimes I use it when I am getting ready for bed to provide a nice, calm, increasingly dark light to help me get in the mood for sleep.One thing I would like is maybe more sound options. I am not a great morning person and so I find myself becoming irritated by even the few calming sound options in the morning. However, I ended up switching the sound to the radio to wake me which I thought I would never use, but in fact I find it great! There is always a new sound to irritate me so I don't associate the sound of birds, waves etc. with having to get out of bed. It is also cheaper than a lot of other options which is great.I would also like to find an easier way to turn down the volume in the morning- I don't think the volume buttons work when I wake up and realise the volume on the radio required to wake me is too loud for me to continue listening as I get ready for the day. I am sorry if I'm wrong, but frantically pressing the volume buttons in an irritated, tired mood doesn't seem to work for me, I think it may remain at the pre-set volume from the night before?

I love the way the “dawn” light wakens you. Good choice of alarm sounds. Revolutionised my winter mornings. It is a bit fiddly to programme but not that difficult . Good radio. I don’t find the digital time display too bright. The only thing that tripped me up was the instruction that “You will need a 5V/2A converter” as though you would need to buy it in addition. So I at first assumed the one that was included was something else. This wasted a bit of time but silly me. Anyway, all in all delighted.

Wanted an alarm clock for my son to stop morning battles! This is great as the light stirs him before the alarm goes off. He likes waking up to the radio. The lamp is good too and has a wide range of colour options including colour fade type options. For the price I'm very pleased.The only downside is there are a lot of steps to set an alarm as there are so many options! And it gets a bit confusing sometimes, setting the light for the alarm is different to the normal light setting buttons, easy to get it wrong and have to go back through the whole process. And when you have coloured lights on, there isn't a quick way to turn if off without cycling through all colours. We just turn the main lamp on and off as a short cut, but again, it's a but frustrating!But, for the price, there is lots of functionality and I would recommend it.

This is great value for money as you can spend a lot of these sort of clocks.I love the good range of brightness for the sunrise, and range of volume for the alarm (and you can choose to have no alarm sound at all). I like the volume low so it only wakes me up gently.The sun gradually rises in brightness over the time period you set.There are varying options for the alarm sound, or none at all if you wish. I chose the radio, but there are nature sounds you can choose e.g. birds tweeting. Although the nature sounds are very nice they are very short and then repeat, which gets quite annoying, which is my only negative.Others have mentioned the instructions being difficult to follow. I didn't find this personally, and thought they were surprisingly well written for something coming from China! I would recommend you follow the directions closely and work through in order as there are a lot of options to go through (and some you'll probably not use). You may also want a magnifying glass!! The buttons on the clock are small and quite hard to clearly see the symbol in order to match it up with the ones shown in the instructions!I've been using it for a 7 weeks now and I love it. Once it's setup you don't really need to touch it again. There are two alarm settings you can apply, so I have one for weekday and one for weekend. You just need to remember to turn them on/off as required.I'm very happy with this purchase, for the price it is excellent.

Used this for the first time last night. Very easy to set up and use and I feel like it really improved my wake up experience. It's also great that you can set alarm sounds and multiple alarm times if needed.

I purchased the premium brand name wake up clock and was unimpressed, took a punt on this and for its features, it was great!You need to read the instruction manual and work out how to use it but it’s well built and has super useful functions such as a FM radio…other brands charge an excessive premium for this! 😬The problem I had with this item was the buzzing that emits from the plug when you turn off the display at night, the moment you press the button the plug hums. I tried a different plug but got the same result so I assume this is to do with the reduced power need when the display is dimmed or switched off.Unfortunately I found the buzzing too annoying to put up with so ended up returning.
