I was tired of using the Q-tips and hairpins. Yep, it works. As I ordered two different ones, what I didn’t get in this one was in the other that I ordered so I combined them and now I have everything I need. It helped to calm the constant itching in my ear and they feel cleaner.

My dad always complains of having excess earwax, so I got him this set for Father's day. I'm not saying that you should 100% rely on this, but I have never heard my dad complain about his earwax ever since.

I have suffered ear problems since I was little and have been wondering if I might have caused ear wax to be impacted due to using q-tips. Ever since I've seen ASMRists use ear picks and the like in ear cleaning videos, I've wanted to give these a try.The ear picks were nice. Was able to clear some dead skin I was unable to get with q-tips. I even found my favorite pick among the set. Though, since I cleaned my ears days before discovering these, I'm probably not using them to the best of their abilities.While the ear picks were nice, the spring and spiral picks had no effect as far as I could tell. This might be due to my ears just being too clean at the moment, or I just don't know how to effectively use it. An addendum is needed in the future, once my ears are dirtier and I really get to try out the set.Also, the box is tricky to open. I couldn't tell which side opened and had to use my tweezers to jimmy it open.Addendum: So far, I have only gotten the spring and spiral picks to work when my ears are wet after a shower. When they're dry, still can't remove any wax and skin debris.

I'll spare you the visual details but I use the tool with the spoon like end practically daily to clean my ears out every morning. It's such a liberating feeling getting loose earwax out and feeling fresh to start off my morning.

After watching some youtube videos I thought using these would be possible with great care, but even with great care the ear canal is very sensitive and you only have to touch it lightly to create discomfort or soreness. Don't trust any videos you watch(ed) where it looks like they are pulling a giant mass of wax from a cocoon. I don't know who these people are, but after trying carefully (and freely admitting my own stupidity in trying this) I recommend sucking it up and going to see a doctor. You might also be mistaking the sensation of fluid behind the eardrum to be a wax build-up that isn't there.

I like this product, because cotton swabs, sometimes don't make my ears clean, and I can't get them in to clean the deep wax. Also there is a small flat spoon, that will fit in my coin purse, so I have one with me, incase I feel like something is in my ear.
