Good camera. Easy to use
It only took about 5 minutes to go thru the menu for the settings I wanted. I set it to take 2 pics & a 10 second video for each episode. I set everything for a "mid" resolution as a starting point. Daylight pics / video is outstanding !! Night pics & video are understandably black & white but still very good quality. So far my one negative is that the micro SDcard is a PITA to remove without a tweezers. I like to swap cards when I check on it & I had to remove the camera from the tree I strapped it to to extract the card. All in all, this is a great camera for the price point & above. I have the "brand name" cameras & I see almost no difference in picture quality & functions. Do NOT be afraid to purchase this unit.

Best game cam I’ve used
Easy to set up, great instructions. I used medium detection because it was picking up everything. Great photos & videos. Highly recommend this camera. Comes with a mounting stand or strap.

Great quality photos and videos!
Easy setup. Lots of features, but everything is super clearly labeled and easy to navigate. Picture and videos are amazing quality - we only have them on mid settings right now while we work on getting used to them and until we can get more storage for them. Honestly for the price I was NOT expecting them to be this good, and like I said, this isn't even peak settings. The IR quality is really good as well, though I wish it had a little more range. But for the price I'm super happy with it. The expandable storage is amazing and we will be getting a bigger SD card for sure!

Arrived broken – Still no warranty response after one week
The Ceteret T5 trail camera I received had a problem right out of the box. After correctly installing four or eight new AA alkaline batteries with the switch set to Off, the unit would not power up using the switch. I tried multiple times but discovered that it would only turn on if the batteries were inserted while the switch was in the Test or On position. The problem would recur every time I moved the switch to the Off position. After fiddling with the system for hours, the power switch started working correctly. It took me days of trial and error to find parameters that worked well to capture nocturnal animal activity. After all that work, I got one good night's results. The next night I got nothing and discovered that the display was flashing and the camera was making clicking noises. There is no phone number to call the manufacturer, located in Shenzhen, China. The only way to contact them is by email. Their website says they will reply within 12 hours, but they still haven't responded to the email I sent seven days ago. I plan to purchase a replacement trail cam from a different manufacturer since Ceteret has been a complete disappointment.

Really helpful in the woods
We had something in our woods pulling up plantings and and then leaving them lay. Most animals will do so to eat them.. Rabbits, deer and gohers. So we bought this hoping to figure it out, because we was losing $ on our plantings. Thanks to this camera hung in our tree, we discovered a neighbors dog was the culprit. He would wonder in the woods at night and just play with pulling things up. The camera has great vision and excellent night vision as well. I would reccommend this to anyone. I really liked that it has an SD card that can be replaced so you can keep things if you want.

Great bang for the buck
I have had this trail camera now for several months and over winter. Living in Colorado, It's been in the rain, snow, freezing temps and hot sun. It has not failed. I use in in our yard (2/3 acre) to see what animals trapse through and I use it when we camp in our camper, putting it out to capture pictures of any wild game that might stroll through. The pictures are crystal clear and although I would like night shots having a greater distance, I remain satisfied. The batteries have lasted since I bought it (caveat: I do leave it off and in the house when not in use; it is not outside and on the entire time). I'm anxious this spring to try the Time Lapse mode in my garden when I first plant veggies. I have not used the Video, having no need up to this point, so I cannot speak to that mode. All in all, I would buy this camera again . . . the quality is excellent, the pictures are excellent, battery life is excellent and the price is right. Not sure what spending more would get you; of course, depending on your use, a higher end trail camera might be worth it, but for my use and needs, this fits the pocket book perfectly.

Great Camera for the Price!
I am very familiar with scouting cameras and have been using them for 12-14 years. This particular camera has plenty of features, like a display screen for viewing your pictures in the field. Battery life is as good as any camera I have ever used. The trigger speed is very good, and the set-up is very easy. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star review, is that I do not have any idea how reliable it will be over the long-term. Our Wisconsin weather is fairly hard on cameras, especially if you leave them in the woods for a portion of the winter, which I do.Have now upgraded my review to 5 stars, as I am now more comfortable with the reliability of the unit.
