Used this kit to link a UniFi Aggregation switch to a Pro-24 switch with 2x10G links. I’m using cheap orange OM2 fibres, of 50m. Worked fine.

Used with Intel X520 10GB card. Reliable. Performance good.

I have a fair amount of Networking experience and worked in IT field when 10M base was upgraded to 100Mbps. These Fiber optic 10G modules are not new but they were so expensive that only big companies could afford these as the technology is becoming increasingly available to consumers that we are able to afford it now. I am now planning to wire my home with Fiber optic cable. These are very well made 10Gbps SPF Multi-Mode modules with data transfer rate up to 10Gbps using Fiber optic cable with RJ45. These are called multi mode converters as they convert Copper RJ45 to Fiber and back on the other end. You can use them with readily available Multi-Mode Fiber Transceivers or Switches. I have recently acquired a pair of Network Transceivers and it is 1G version which is plenty fast for my home network so I can only go up to 1Gbps at present using OM3 LC cable. I will be purchasing 10G Transceivers or may be a switch to utilise the full speed of these modules. These are hot-swapable plug and play modules and require no installation hence the convenience as well as reliability they offer is un comparable performance. They are very well designed and seems durable enough to last a long time. I am very impressed with the quality of the product and I will definitely be buying these when I done my fiber wiring in my house.

I use a 10Gbps link between my desktop and my NAS to speed up video editing process and have a pair of transceivers from another company. I picked these up for comparison and found them to be as performant, and cross compatible with one from each company still working to transmit data along the optical cable... Overall these are inexpensive, performant at least as far as I've been testing (5m) and cross compatible with other brands. Happy to recommend.

Im using these in my home lab setup for uplinks between switches and these represent a cost effective way of getting 2 modules that work together. Plugged into a random off-brand switch and connected with 0.5m of OM3 fibre and they came straight up. No issues at all. For home networking / SMB these seem to present no issues and good value proposition.

Connected first time on our SFP+ switches and provided a connection over a short fibre cable. Was recognised by the switches and achieved the advertised sync speed and appears to be capable of pushing 10Gbit based on tests. Good price for this level of SFP module and was stable over some days of ordinary network traffic.

Zero config needed. Worked first time. Both my Netgear and Cisco switches accepted these without issue. Both devices communicating between each other at full speed. Simple recommendation.

This 10G Sfp LC MMF300m 10GBase-SR SFP+ Transceiver adapter is really well made by solid metal and it is designed for pfofessional use. I've installed it on my Unifi Gateway Pro and it worked immediately. Really happy with it.
