I’m using this in a 9mm LC9s Ruger and a Sig P320. It setup very easily and fast in both guns – and fired perfectly. My only issue – after every shot I need to slide the rack back to re-cox the gun or the pin won’t operate. Major disappointment for me. This means that after every shot I must lower the weapon and slide the rack back thus losing my line of sight. I’m not sure if this is the case on all guns but certainly is on the 2 I have. If it wasn’t for that issue, I would have given it 5 stars. 10/17/17 - I'm changing my review to 5 stars. The product works just like it's intended. I actually love practicing with this device.

Just got this and it works great. Using a Sig 228, it allows rapid DA fire or cocked SA fire. The red dot is easy to see against any paper target from the small ones provided to a full size IDPA target. Makes it easy to see when and where you are pulling your shots to correct grip and finger issues.

Previously purchased 2016 & again 2025. A few suggestions on use. On my Glock 17,19, Beretta 92FS I just lock the slide back load the laser bullet. Dry firing on multiple shots around home. When finished lock the slide back then use the pencils eraser end (not pointed) or wood dowel then push the laser out of the weapon. Make sure it doesn't drop on the floor. REMOVE THE LASER DO IT OVER A FLAT PADDED SURFACE. To protect the lasers programed controlled action cap (rubber end) & the lasers glass. When not in use it's smart to remove batteries to prolong battery life. A bit of trivia this laser bullet is Manufactured in Isreal. And was originally used by the Israeli Armed Forces in dry firing practice.

Product performed well, used it for 2 sessions about 3 months ago. Went to use it today, no laser output, measured voltage on lr726 battery, .8volts. Trying to get in touch with dealer, no answer yet, will update review after they have contacted me and corrected issue. update: waiting for return call, it was difficult to find info on Amazon site, finally reached a person that gave me info and left word for selling dealer and also the company. I will quickly adjust my review as needed. update: received unit back with new battery, used it for a few days, put back without removing battery and 3-4 months later dead again. I do have 2 additional units, one of which was not used with battery left inside and was fine almost 3 years after going back down to florida after Covid period, and absolutely fine. they talk about having to remove battery when you stop using the unit, shelf life on these batteries are years, there is a defect in the unit. Waiting to see if they send me a new one, or just keep telling me its the fault of battery being left in. It is almost impossible to do a current draw test due to the design but if they gave me the schematic i could probably point to the failure mode. Did they not consider that there could be a design or issue with the units? Making up conditions to cover up a product failure is not good business. If I didnt have other units that are fine I would agree to the insane request to open up and remove batteries when not in use, but its kind of like asking a person to unscrew a light bulb when not in the room. Update 12/23/22 It is clear that this product has become an embarrassment to the company, the ones I had from years ago still work fine with original batteries. They have decided to not respond or acknowledge their failure to make good on their product and accept the responsibility for the issues. I can see from other reviews of the past year that the failure rate is high and they will deny its a problem and answer with remove the battery. Disgraceful and I will continue to. Report on their failure to resolve the issue and hope that every potential purchasers read this and make the right choice. Amazon reviews provide the feedback to remove bad products from their shelves, I hope a return call and the truth is acknowledged. update 9120/23 going on 2 years waiting for this company to acknowledge that they sold a defective product and tried to hide behind silence to make it go away. Until they replace the defective unit that can run without battery removal because of a defect or parasitic drain, I will follow up with yearly or more reviews as I watch the earlier version run on its 4th year without replacement and this unit go dead in weeks of non use. I would welcome feed back on this.

It was exactly as Expected. It works well. I believe it will help my training. Well made and simple to use.

This is a great item for working on shooting technique without the expense of burning up ammunition. Other caliber adapters and a variety of snapcaps are available at additional expense. The first couple of batteries died pretty quickly. An email to Laser Ammo's Customer Service department brought immediate resolution. Apparently some units were in warehouse storage for an extended period resulting in aged batteries.
