Great reference and an easy read
Well done. Great reference and an easy read. I learned quite a bit about different express and merchandise service. This is a general history book and not specific just for modeling. Anyone with an interest in railroads or trucking should enjoy the book.

Much more interesting than I expected.
Shows how process engineering and hard working employees can accomplish amazing things. Amazon, FedEx, and UPS have rebuilt what Sears, Parcel Post, railroads, and Railway Express Agency had decades ago.

A wealth of information for anyone interested in Express or LCL operations, historian, modeler or otherwise. Little disappointed in the Canadian content only being one page, because CNR and CPR did have a lot more than is offered.
