Great rosin pressing bag, tested up to 20,000lbs of pressure, see video review for squishes
The media could not be loaded. Pressing bags (aka Rosin bags) come in widely varying levels of quality. So far though, these are the best I've come across on Amazon. It doesn't get a 5 star simply because the price. It is Scrooge McDuck high. A brief alibaba search will yield identical (if not better) quality rosin bags at a fraction of the price if you are willing to wait a little longer on the shipping. So I am the impatient pineapple...Different pressing mediums require different micron levels of size. This doesn't simply affect yield but also quality of your final product (wax/rosin). To be clear, I don't see a massive difference in yield by changing micron sizes *for flower*, but I do see a difference in filtering quality and brix testing profiles. You *would* notice a difference if you didn't change micron sizes for flower versus kief. Are these Nylon or silk bags? These are nylon. I prefer nylon over silk bags due to nylon's durability and resilience under higher loads of pressure (10,000lbs+).What medium are you pressing and what type of press (capability) are you using?Great question because these two factors ultimately determine what micron size bag to choose when pressing. For the tests I pressed kief and flower. I used a Potent.Industries 20ton electric press with a heated top and bottom plate at varying temperatures. I sent final extracts to SC Laboratories however I am not allowed to post links or SS of those results on this review."I am pressing kief/bubble H"Because of the granularity of the particles, the qualities of the kief wax changes as it flows through the bag. I typically use a 90 micron bag for kief. This delivers a higher yield, more essential oils, a higher brix value (contains more sugars), and subsequently a stronger flavor profile. It is my hypothesis and belief that anyone prescribed medical marijuana with an immunosuppressed or sensitive immune system should be utilizing a 25-36 micron bag size for filtering as it will remove more particulates (subsequently lower brix profile and losing a little flavor) but delivering the cleanest final product. I recently kicked it up a notch and run it through a single-pass distillate to experiment with extracts that are pure at a molecular level."I am pressing flower" (large nugs/shake etc)I tend to grind all flower before inserting it into a pressing bag/rosin bag, however it is not mandatory. I use 90 micron bags and nothing higher. This allows for acceptable filtering and higher yields per gram. The maximum I have seen used is 120 microns, this is typically for mass production. Interesting fact: Trichome heads themselves, the most cannaboid-rich part of the plant, are 120 microns in diameter, but don't assume that they are being allowed to pass through into your wax/rosin, they melt during the extraction process.Just in case you didn't know:A micron is a unit of measurement in the metric system equal to 1 millionth of a meter in length. The average cross-section of a human hair is 50 micron, and the human eye cannot see anything smaller than 40 microns in size.50 microns – Diameter of a human hair40 microns – Lower limit of visibility of a human eye 25 microns – White blood cells8 microns – Red blood cells2 microns – BacteriaGeneral guideline of micron sizes to quality of final extract:115-micron – Flower and trim rosin at excellent yield with good quality90-micron – Flower and trim rosin at great yield with great quality72-micron – Flower and trim rosin at good yield with excellent quality72-micron – Kief and bubble hash at excellent yield with good quality36 micron – Flower at decent yield with the best possible quality36-micron – Kief and bubble hash at good yield with excellent qualityAgain, these are the best bags on Amazon and would get a 5 star if the price was reasonable.

Great value
These worked great. No blowouts. Quite a value for the money also . If you can afford to buy a 100 at a time this is definitely the way to go.

Almost useless. Blow out city.
Honestly, these bags stretch and blow out too easily. I guess after using over 100 of "SquishBag" brand I should just stop trying to save a few dollars. They work as long as you don't go above 300psi. The hotter it is, the lower the pressure you can use before blow out. I stick within the range of 180-210 so I am a low temp presser. These basically are junk for real rosin pressing. Maybe they would be good for a hair straightener. One last thing, I am pretty sure these are made of Polyester since all the Nylon bags I have had are really soft and these are the only bags that have a rougher feel to me. Either that or just a inferior quality Nylon.

and these do pretty well as long as you pre-grind the cannabis flower
These worked OK. I have a setup with a 12 ton press with heated plates, and these do pretty well as long as you pre-grind the cannabis flower. If you put whole buds in them you will get blow outs. Each pack will hold about 5 grams of flower for pressing into rosin. If you load more into there you will end up with incomplete extraction.I found that with 5 grams of ground flower at 240 degrees F, these produce very good Rosin, and you will keep getting more for approximately 10 presses with a 12 ton press. I am getting approximately 3-4 grams of rosin per ounce of flower using these bags.
