great chess teaching book
I'm a professional chess teacher, and I really like Murray Chandler's books --they tend to have nice collections of thematically related tactics. I was excited to receive Chess Puzzles For Kids in the mail yesterday and I started using it in lessons today. Each tactical theme has an "easy" and a "hard" version-- good for teaching multi-level groups-- and makes a great warm up.

Super livre
Excellent livre d'exercices tiré de parties réelles. Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans le titre du livre, il convient aussi à des joueurs d'échecs. Un peu difficile pour des enfants

not recommended
Not really kids material. Expected a book full of puzzles, not (sometimes obscure) tactical positions. Like so many 'kids' chess books, it doesn't really empathise with kids, despite the gimmicky cartoons.

Parental guidance required
The book has solid ideas for the aspiring chess player, for those aged <11, it requires the help of an adult. Note : Its very hard to get kids to read chess books - so no real surprise here.
