This book is my first one by Jade Jones. Fanatic is fantastic! Raina has had a ginormous crush on Sterling Robinson (Roo) from the moment she saw him. She methodically inserted herself into all the spaces he occupied but he didn’t pay any attention to her. Why would he? She was extremely unattractive and shy. When she stumbles onto his dark secret, she doesn’t let it deter her feelings. Roo can’t help but love someone who cares for him so deeply. I found myself rooting for this unlikely pair. She so ugly on the outside and him so ugly on the inside. Shouldn’t that cancel the ugly out? The story is told from multiple perspectives and has twists I didn’t see coming. The last two chapters had me worried….wow!

This is my first read from this author and I was thoroughly impressed! I even liked the fact you included "music" lyrics from songs that fit the situation and are current. Life is one big theme song lol! I liked that you had a mix of characters and that one of the pillars of the community was Sterling Sr., a black man! The sheer fact that you included the dreadful covid virus made me smile not because of it, but because it was so current and felt real if you will.Raina, stalkerish and all, I grew to like like her because people are cruel ok. She didn't deserve to be treated the way she was because of her looks. I loved the way her confidence grew and she didn't allow Quinn's rude butt to take her down like in the past. She deserved her outcome. Keep in mind I color outside the lines...Keeping in mind with that fact, I always read to escape the world and the norms and rules we abide by as decent human beings. I read and watch T.V for entertainment. Which is why Roo, despite his dirty deeds, I was a fan of. He was. misunderstood but the one who understood was right under his nose, behind his back and like a fly on the wall lol! I caught the moral to the story too!All's well that ends well, least that's what the folks say. Keep an open mind, sit back and relax and get in to this book. It's enjoyable! Looking forward to reading more from this author. Be proud, chick you did good!

Very Interesting Book…Enjoyd It From Beginning To End…Now Time To See The Movie…Hope It’s Just As Interesting…Or Better…And Loved Reading The Book

I am in complete awe of this book. I’m not one for murder and mystery but once I got started on this book, I found I couldn’t put it down! Jade Jones is a new author to me so with this being her first book I’ve indulged in I find myself needing to get into her catalogue.Roo and Raina were adorable in a sick and twisted love kind of way lol. From the first page of this book, I knew this wouldn’t be the usual mystery. There were so many twists and turns while love was still growing that I was constantly on the edge of my seat not being able to put this book down until I figured out who the next victim would be and who was doing the killing.I absolutely loved this book! This book had me falling in love with a serial killer!!! The characters were so well developed. Reading books written from multiple points of view can be a bit much if not done correctly and I was happy to see that wasn’t the case in this read. We are giving points of view from main characters as well as influential side characters while still looking to solve murders and stop a serial killer. The plot twists in this book were shocking while some were hilarious, and I found myself enjoying seeing bad people get what they deserved!If you love mystery, suspense, murder with the right amount of love and loyalty thrown in then this is definitely the book for you!

This was an enjoyable read because the protagonist wasn’t beautiful like most main characters I read about, the drama was nonstop, and the plot twists were crazy. Too was non-conventional, oddly likable, and weird.
