Holy Hygge: Creating a Place for People to Gather and the Gospel to Grow Paperback – 20 Sept. 2022

I find it hard to be very hospitable being an introvert. This takes being a Christian and Hygge merge it together to create a loving environment and opening out homes to others like Christ would want us to do. It makes it sound cosy, fun and a ministering to others

I read this little by little, but I got sucked in so much I wanted to read it all in one go! Not only is this book beautiful in its aesthetic and simplistic message, but the fact she so effortlessly describes how Jesus *is* hygge and the ultimate homemaker was just beautiful.Though the book is centered around the idea of the woman/wife/mother being the homemaker, I think this would be a great read for anyone interested in making a home welcoming, comfortable, and Godly.From the fantastic choice of references at the top of each chapter, to the art selected, and the highlighted portions in the side boxes, this book flows through its sections easily and lays out the ideas so well!My only wish for improvement is writing out the verses that are mentioned. I realize that there are MANY! And that's great! But it did get a little tedious to wonder what the verse says exactly, pulling out my Bible or Bible App, finding the verse, then returning to this book. Other than that slight inconvenience, I am in love with this book, and hope that my future home is as Godly hygge as it can be!

Easy to read and very inspiring!

I like it! Definitely compliments my minimalist mindset and encourages me to always be welcoming! Less stuff less clutter! More peace and joy!
