Nice texture and absorbs fast
I can't yet tell if it's going to prevent stretch marks, as I'm 5 months only. But I love the thick texture and super quick absorption. I put it after shower and it absorbs real quick, and when I take a shower the next day I still feel that it's thin moisturing layer is still on my skin, means that it really stays and makes skin more elastic. So hopefully it's going to work in a long run. I use pretty much 1 bottle per 1.5 months, maybe I will start applying more - so probably should count for 1 bottle per month.

Good cream for pregnancy!
This cream is the best if you don't want to have stretch marks during your pregnancy or avoid them, buy it but you have to be consistent, use it at least twice a day, I got a few at the end of my pregnancy and it was because I stopped using them for days because it was too hot and I regretted it so much, but even postpartum it has helped me fade them almost completely, so yes I can say it is very good 👌, centella asiatica is the only ingredient with proven scientific study that claims to help effectively reduce their appearance, so yes it is very good, somewhat expensive but with results. 👍

No stretch marks with this cream!
Was waiting to write this review for so long! 37 weeks and no stretch marks with this cream. Have been using it since the 12th week twice a day in a combination with belly oils/butters and everything looks perfect so far. When I was doing my research before purchasing, it said that it’s 1 of 2 clinically proven belly creams for pregnancy that will actually protect you from stretch marks. Not sure if it’s genetics or this cream, but I would guess that it worked. 1 tube lasted the whole time, and still have some left. So just buy it if you are hesitant.

Works for me!
I did not get any stretch marks with my first or second pregnancy. I could no longer find the product that I used back then so for my third pregnancy I purchased this. I went through 2 tubes of it and to my surprise and luck, I made it through my third pregnancy with no stretch marks. I am now in my fourth pregnancy and giving it another try, hoping I get as lucky again! I really like this stuff!

A professional review with a list of ingredients. Best to ask your OB before using.
This review is solely based on my professional opinion as a Pharmacist. I have not used this product so I cannot speak for its effectiveness. I bought this item because it was the only one that shows statistically significant clinical outcomes for preventing stretch marks. The cochrane review did not evaluate the safety and long term effects of Trofolastin. the primary endpoint was a decrease in stretch mark formation. This product contains 2 concerning long chain parabens, buytlparaben and propylparaben, that MAY do harm to the fetus. However, to be fair, we do not know if parabens cross the placenta. There is a proposed study but it is not completed as of yet... funding issue maybe. Also, Trofolastin is considered a cosmetic item (even though its made by novartis) and is not regulated by the FDA. I have written out the ingredient list as a reference for others as it is not available anywhere online, even on the spain novartis website. I advise all pregnant women to thoroughly research products especially ones coming from another country before using it. Below is a citation from EWG website about parabens and the full ingredient list... the things in parenthesis are my additions."What's so bad about parabens?Previous studies have found that parabens can cause skin irritation, allergic reactions, reproductive health problems and cancer, depending on the form of paraben. Public health experts have been particularly concerned about the longer chain parabens -- butylparaben, isopropylparaben, isobutylparaben and propylparaben -- because studies have shown that they can mimic the hormone estrogen and disrupt normal function of the hormone system. There is much that scientists DON'T know about how the body reacts to parabens. But consumers don't need to wait for definitive conclusions you can (and should!) read labels carefully and vote with your pocketbook. That way, you'll protect your family and help shift the market towards safer products."ttp://www.ewg.org/enviroblog/2010/11/common-cosmetics-ingredient-can-harm-spermINGREDIENTS:water, triticum vulgare (wheat oil), sorbitol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetearyl alcohol, sodium cetearyl sulphate, propylene glycol, lanolin, centella asiatica (gotu kola), hydrolized collagen, hydrolized elastin, asiaticoside (stimulates collagen), asiatic acid (another form of gotu kola), madecassic acid (stimulates collagen synthesis), phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, propylene glycol, B.H.T. Good stuff I think...
I mean, do any of these creams really work? It did keep my skin soft and itch free. It didn't do anything to existing marks, but it felt good to be "doing something". Even if it was a placebo effect, I would do it again. I also liked that it was from Novartis and not the drug store.
