I've installed literally over 30 of these, never had one come back
The headline says it all - We get a solid 40-50% failure rate (or at least We *did*) with the 4-wire, silver-box cr*p, about 20% with the "Reliance" brand, and even have had issues w high-end OEM stuff from Allied, EcoBattery, etc - These literally hold up. under full load they get warm, but even a 24hr burn-in under a calibrated 30A load, the 30a reducer was still kicking and again, warm but not hot.If I could change one thing, it would be the size of the input wires (they DO get quite warm if extended too far) so try and mount as close to your 48v battery pack as possible.Other than that, We install them, We trust them. 5 stars

So far so good
I replaced an overkill 420W unit that Went toes up, would have spent extra to match the old one but same specs model wasn’t available. My cart is 72v so the initial spark you get when plugging in the fuse can make a person recheck all the wiring, multiple times. I was told the spark is normal on applying the input power , was told this after I checked all the wiring, multiple times. This info came from an online forum , because I did not receive a response to the questions I submitted to the seller. Otherwise it’s been working fine all week so far sending the proper voltage to lights and most importantly, the 4x4 switch.

Works good so far
Felt a little lightweight, soooo I took off one of the sides and looked inside, looks fairly well made.

Economical, Well built
Great for adding 12v Aux led automotive lights to my diy ebike for great headlamps. Steps down 72v to 12 without frequency noise or any other issue. Added a kill switch, ground side, pre converter to keep down waste draw when not using the headlamps. small, lighteight, but not excess heat makes this great for small builds. If I were adding turn signals and brake lights I may have opted for more than the 10 amp model, but this model fit my needs just fine. Didn't test water resistance. I didn't build my bike to get wet..all in all, I highly recommend.

48 volt to 12 volt converter
Works as stated. Input and output are not isolated. Input and output ground are tied together but otherwise is a good unit.
