Fits 2023 Rideline
My 3rd Retrax cover. I think these covers are great. Since I'd installed two (both on F-150's), I thought I knew how to do it. Well not so much. It pays to read the instructions. The bed rails on the Ridgeline are different so installation requires installing a secondary rail first to provide a clamping surface for the cover. I zoomed right past that step initially thinking I knew what I was doing. Once I slowed down & started reading the instructions I found the necessary information. The instructions could be a little clearer & more detailed, but the basic info is in there. FYI, the top four tie down brackets are removed to provide a space to secure the additional rails, so you lose those four tie downs. The cover I received fit perfect. It took less than 2 hours to install. Only basic hand tools required, except a T50 Torx driver is needed to remove and then replace the tie down bolts. The cover is expensive but I think it's well worth the investment. My last cover was on my truck for seven years and I never had a single issue. It kept stuff in the bed dry (damp was the worse anything suffered) and secure. The Ridgeline was a recent purchase and I'd read so much negative remarks concerning the Retrax and the Ridgeline I wanted to share my experience. I'd definitely would recommend this product.

Solid.
Fits perfectly. Operates as advertised. Looks really sharp. The only downside is cost. It was not cheap. However, one thing I don't think promote enough about this tonneau cover is the fact if you have a locking tailgate and you lock the Retrax, your gear in the bed is about as secure as it gets. Thieves easy break into most tonneau covers in seconds. Not this one.One thing to note, the supplied drain tube do not fit the weep holes in the bed without modification. I chose to drill out the holes using a 1/2" bit. The drain tube are actually closer to 9/16" so I used a heat gun on the ends of the drain tube to get them malleable. The result was a nice tight fit. If you choose this course you do not need to drill through the metal, just bore the existing holes in the composite. Additionally, use gloves and a mask as there is fiberglass in the composite.Overall pretty easy.

Looks great
I installed the cover according to the instructions and it went well until the very end. When I was checking out the lock I found that the locking arm that flips back and forth was touching the bed of the truck. Retrax suggested an adjustment that worked. A few weeks later the bed cover had settled and the arm was touching the bed again and I adjusted it again. Seems to be OK now. I ran the truck through a car wash and a little water leaked into the bed at the front corners. Could be the car wash squirted high pressure water at places rain wouldn't normally go. Overall I'm very happy with it. It looks great and the cover slides and locks easily. Installation is easy if you're handy.

Prevents Honda Ridgeline in-bed trunk from opening completely
Product information states this product is guaranteed fit for 2022 Honda Ridgeline. However, the installation prevents the in-bed trunk from opening completely. The lid will only open about 2/3 of the way. Why wasn’t this disclosed in the product information? I am extremely disappointed that I spent almost $1500 for a cover that didn’t disclose it would hinder use of vehicle features. It is clearly a known issue since the modification kit rails have rubber bumper pads where the trunk lid hits the rails. I didn’t notice this until a week after install, since I don’t use the trunk daily.Update: contacted the company, and they said they knew this was an issue but didn't disclose it in the product information.

Love the cover!
This is the Polycarbonate 60502 model. I put this on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. Installation was a snap! Seriously, I read the directions and went to work. I did need a second set of hands to put it on the truck bed. Took me less than an hour to put it on the truck and then about 40 minutes to do the adjustments. I was concerned that the Polycarbonate would not be very strong but it's plenty strong enough and about $700 less than the aluminum. Looks fantastic too! I'll follow up after a couple of months with an update.

Just what I needed
This Retrax aircraft aluminum roll top, self storing bed cover is perfect fit for the 2017 Ridgeline. Installation went just the way the instructions said it would. I did reinstall the upper tie rear downs along the Retrax mounting brackets. You truly need a second pair of hands to sent the rails and storeage box assemble on the truck. I inserted some of the white colored shipping tubing inside the water drain tubes of the storeage box. The shipping drain tubes fit inside the Ridgeline bed drain holes in the front corners of the bed. After installing and bolting down the assembly the roll top worked perfectly. With the cover closed I crawled on top to test the flex. The slanted top cover bearly moved. The instructions said the top could with stand 300#. I also learned since this unit weighs more the 70 pounds. I had to the have this unit shipped to the UPS store nearest my my home. So before I ordered this unit I went and visited the store to give them a heads up. They explained to me I would need to spend $5.00 fee since I did not have UPS mail box at the store. I also called to tell them to give them the expected drop off date at their store. I received a text message once the unit was drop shipped to the local UPS store. I called the store right after I got the text to let them know I was on the way to pickup the shipment. I payed my $5.00, they loaned a dolly so I could get it out to my truck for loading. I returned the dolly and thanked them for their help. This was was very good experience for me. I would like to thank Amazon & UPS for this pleasant experience. I have had my Retrax cover installed for over 2 months now.

Awesome cover, hard fitment, seals could be better and awful instructions
While the cover is awesome, be aware of the following (on a Honda Ridgeline 2028):- The instructions are awful. It's hard to follow, not vehicule specific, meaning it branches out at various point to other vehicules. In my case, I had 2 guides to follow. Would have been a lot better to 1 guide and add details. Long story short: watch youtube installation videos.- Centering the cover and ensuring the swing tailgate does not interfere is not an easy task. The plastic shim included do an ok job, but I spent a lot more time adjusting the damn thing than I care to admit.- The cover lock rubs on the bed. I had to sand some stuff to limit that.- The cover does not seal 2 joints at the front of the bed and it leaks water. I'll use backing rods and caulking to fix/mitigate this. I believe this is a Honda Ridgeline specific issue. My OEM trifold cover did a better job at that.- The rubber seal sitting on the front of the bed leaks water. It's too long and does not sit flush. I'll cut it a bit and/or will add some additionnal sealant to fix/mitigate this.- Some of the rails were a bit ruff and prevented things from slidding properly. I had to cut some bits. That being said, if you are willing to spend the money and the time (total 2 afternoons for me), it's a great top. I am only shaving off 1 star for the points above, that's how great the cover is. Had it been lower quality or had I bought the platic version, this would have lost at least another star.
