The key template was great! Our motorcycle needed a spare key and several places didn’t have one in stock for us to make a copy. The local locksmith said he could cut one if we ordered the template. So this one was perfect and saved the day!

Unfortunately what I’d received was slightly flawed. I took it to my locksmith who told me he’ll try to salvage it but couldn’t because it didn’t work. I’d asked not for a refund but just a replacement. They supposedly shipped (?) then cancelled my replacement. Not cool. All I needed was a replacement nothing more.

Seller shipped it quickly (not prime) still got it in within 5 business days. About the key though it works perfect. It is a blank YZF-R3 key. Take it to a locksmith with one of your keys, and they can make this blank into a spare. Just got it done today, and it works for my bike. Not much else to say. Oh and by the way, it is a genuine YAMAHA OEM product. It arrived in a box straight from presumably a YAMAHA factory.

Bought this blank to make a spare for my 2015 Yamaha-r3 (YZFR3-FR), I did some research and found out it’ll also fit (YZFR3-FL) and (YZFR3-FB) models. Took it to a local locks smith and had it cut for about $3. I did ask a local Yamaha dealership for and estimate on a making a spare key and they quoted me about $50! So definitely glad I made this purchase instead.

I bought a used 2015 R3, only got 1 key with it. This bike uses a key that no other Yamaha in the US uses (possibly because it's made in Indonesia). The locksmith didn't carry the blanks, so I ordered this, had the locksmith duplicate it, and it works perfectly.
