Description Metalize Zinc Rich Cold Galvanizing Primer is an industrial grade spray coating manufactured by P.F.I., Inc. This aerosol primer has 86% pure zinc content in the dry film per ASTM D520 Type II. It affords outstanding, long lasting galvanic anti-corrosion protection for any ferrous metal surface. The zinc pigment is sacrificed as it offers cathodic protection, causing the coating film to become denser and more impervious to damaging elements while ensuring that rust cannot travel underneath the film. When damaged, fresh zinc is primed to protect galvanic protection. This restorative action makes the coating highly weather resistant. Complete coverage may be achieved in a single coat, saving time and labor while minimizing overspray. All P.F.I. Metalize aerosol products are MIR compliant and formulated to meet stringent federal MIL-SPEC requirements.
