Good value for money
A good weighing scale but the actual weight that came with it was not the true weight ( slightly heavier). Otherwise would have given it five stars

I am so sure that when I ordered this I opted for a cable powered one over the batteries but now looking at the page I can't even see that option so I am really confused. I thought maybe it reverted when the colour changed but I can't see it. It's a pretty accurate scale. Can't get the weight supplied to measure exactly 50g but it's pretty close and I can work out the difference for the next thing.

Good for Weighing at 1g and above
I purchased this product to weigh herbal supplements that have to be mixed in very small measures of 40mg, 100mg and 126mg precisely. The calibration weight that comes with the scale (50g) is accurate as I've confirmed this with a separate and identical weight. The little scale registers and calibrates both 50g weights correctly. It also registers weight down to 1g correctly. The 'tare' function works perfectly.Problems begin to surface with the finer measures in mg. At 10mg, 50mg and 100mg, I've found the scale is always slightly off with its register against fine calibration weights, by roughly 10%. Not only that, the scale also begins to fluctuate. I've found the register increases without any further weight being added to the scale.I was able roughly to assess the volume of each correct measure of the herbs I need, so the scale served my purposes, but I don't think I would rely upon it for accurate and precise measures in mg.Having said that, this little scale costs less than £20, so my expectations need to be realistic. For very fine accurate measurements, I think a more appropriate precision balance scale would cost in the range of £200 upwards, such as the Kern scale. I think this scale is good enough, for its price.
