I ordered this for my husband to convert our pool table to a ping pong table. I did quite a bit of research before ordering this one and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Yes...it IS heavy, but it's also very solid and well made. I love that the center has interlocking "teeth" so that the two sides stay together nice and tight. It came with a whole sheet of padded stickers to cushion the underside.One caveat: It is very heavy and you WILL need two people to carry in the box and to remove the two peices when you want to use the table it is sitting on.Also, I was very disappointed with the way it was delivered. They just left in in my driveway (it actually blocked one of my garage doors) after saying that they would call 30 minutes before it arrived to make delivery arrangements. (For the record, we have a HUGE covered front porch.) I just happened to come home from work a few hours early that day and it had just started to rain when I arrived. I had to move the box out of the driveway and into my garage by myself (not easy) to avoid it being ruined in the rain. That was a disappointment but not a reflection of the actual product.

Bought this in the grey and it is a fantastic looking table. You can find a cheaper table, but this is solid and well built. It plays nice, is a bit heavy to set up but that is a plus that it is heavy as I have had it for a few weeks and have not seen any signs of bowing. The net that came with it works well for us. The grey color does show marks easily, but they tend to rub off with no problem. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The delivery was good it was through a private courier and he helped me to carry it into the house. The box was a little dinged up but the table was in perfect condition. There was a screw that had fallen out so a little piece of a match stick and it was as good as new. I did tighten all the screws on the table as there were a few loose ones.

Very happy with this purchase. Brings back happy memories of ping pall in the garage and at college on much less steady portable tables. steady tables. Expect grandkids (and me) will enjoy this table for years to come. Seems very well made. I like the ease with which the net is set up and removed as I plan to continue using the surface as a cutting table (with a protective cover) for my sewing. Delivery people brought it right into the house as requested and daughter and brother in law placed the sections pretty easily. The little rubber pads will probably not last forever, but shouldn't be hard to replace as time goes by.

I just received the table top. I'll write more after I use it a bit but wanted to note from the start that the "protective pads" are not what I expected. Having looked at other conversion tops, I was expecting something a bit more substantial. The protective pads provided are nothing more than small foam and felt squares. I will need to go buy a protective pad more substantial. Had I to do it over, I would either buy the JOOLA table top or the table top I found locally that had a more substantial foam protective backing. The color on the table is good. I like that. The table itself seems very sturdy. The locking clips seem good. Just not happy at all with what the manufacturer provided as a foam protective padding.

It's solidly built, easy to setup, nicely engineered, but... it is very stinky. It ships with a plastic film to protect the table top surface. This film has a very heavy plastic/chemical odor. And even after removing it, the table top reeked for months after. Also, one corner was damaged from shipping. The metal frame on the bottom edge of the table was dented in, and the impact had popped a couple of the fastening screws off the wood. I was able to repair somewhat, but I shouldn't have had to do that.

I did not do a ton of research before buying this table, but once I saw that it was regulation size and at a very comparable price, it was an easy decision. I would not look anywhere else for a ping pong table to cover your 8' pool table. It is excellent quality, super easy to set up and break down, and it was packaged and delivered in flawless condition.
