Q: There is no warranty? What is time limit of return window?

I was told I could return it if I paid the postage which was over $100. I put it in the basement after it broke.

Q: Can someone tell me how to put the batties in ?

Under the lid there is a rectangle area and in the indented part you just push it down & just pull out. Inside it tells you how to place batteries.

Q: can this be opened manually if the auto function stops working?

sure, no problem. Alxo, if batteries get weak and need changed you can assist the auto-open feature by helping it to open or close all the way

Q: Anyone have this trash can with large Dogs? Just curious if they can set off the motion sensor for it to open? Thx

I have a medium size dog and his tail comes up to the opening where the sensor is and it has not opened while he is standing near it wagging his tail. What you could do is place the trash can on a small stool or wood box until ur dog gets use to it being there?
