The Real Housewives of Orange County: Season 6

I choose this set of ladies / characters on this show.If you haven't figured out what you're getting by the name(s) of these "reality" shows, there's not much to be said. Pick about 3 episodes and if after watching you're not strangely and stupidly interested in these people - don't bother. However, if like me you catch yourself actually listening to the opinions (which doesn't mean agreeing) and hearing problems of people living alien lifestyles, then dive into this wonderful mind numbing - time wasting series with both feet! I love these ladies and have seasons 1-8. Total TV indulging, just start & stop watching at will.

After reading other reviews previous to my purchase I thought it was going to be a downer. Not so the catty fights, the trivia, the gossip and the antics were all stepped up. Tamara is as usual in the spot light, this time with her new Latino lover & it is questionable to what lengths you would allow filming- all a must see & add to the mix of this series. Vicki really needs to get off her endless soap box & accept she is the queen of double standards dishing out dirt on literally everyone except her pal Tamara. Very sad that Vicki gave up her friendship with ex TRHOC Jeana. Jeana to me seemed like a real person, grounded and loyal. It seems Vicki may be falling to being a victim of "art imitating life"- Where does fantasy stop & reality begin, it seems maybe all of these ladies are at times getting the two blurred, but then again maybe us viewers do also? Gretchen cops it yet again from Tamara & Vicki who should take a good hard look at their own choices in life! Alexis- I just do not know what to think of her yet, still figuring her out!! The ending is shocking & I wonder how real it all was, if so, Tamara Barney's behaviour is OTT. Where would the show be without all the drama- love it!!!!

I was recently introduced to the "Real Housewives" series, and have become an instant Housewives junkie! Watching the shows is like having a multitude of new girlfriends with problems (usually) more interesting than my own. Why is this so danged therapeutic? Wish I knew. It just is. Sitting down to watch one or two of these episodes, especially with a bowl of popcorn or a movie-size box of Milk Duds or malted milk balls is a relaxation zone all its own. The houses, the clothes, the jewelry, the men, the melodrama! It's total escapism, but somehow better because it's presented as real. I've heard some of these shows are scripted, or partly, but do I care? No, not really. If they are, those writers are doing a darn good job. Ever hear the phrase, "you can't make this stuff up"? Yeah, that. It works. Now pass me some of that popcorn!

I like the tv series

Season 4 and 5 newcomers Brooke, Lynne, and Gretchen return, to the OC, this time bringing along formel model blonde bombshell Peggy, a.k.a. Brooke's best friend, turned nemesis! This is one season you won't forget! I3 you thought 4 was good, 6 is the icing on the cake! Sit back and enjoy this dvd with a your favorite snack, and let the fun begin!,

Gotta love all that drama. I started watching in Season 7 so it was fun to go back and catch up with previous season's.

I love watching the Real Housewives of OC! This DVD was actually purchased for my mother for Christmas. She was so happy when she got it, she watched the whole thing in less than 5 days!

Kinda boring. Just people who care about money and spoiling their kids.
