Cross Stitch for All Seasons

This is the second time I've bought this book. It cost me $50 years ago at a craft store and I think it was worth every penny. I lost my old one and needed another so bought from amazon. I stitched quite a few designs some years back, turned out beautiful by the way, especially bloom and chair of bowlies. Her books are well put together. You can do the whole design or pick pieces of one or several to make your own vision. I learned how to cross stitch on these type of patterns so it doesn't hold up when someone says its too complicated. The color charts are clear and the patterns are color coded. Its some of the easiest stuff I've ever worked.And if you are a Mary Engelbreit fan there will be quite a few designs in this book that say 'stitch me'. Worth the money.

This is a really nice book with many different ideas as to how to display your finished piece. There a full instructions on how to sew and make each design into what they show in the picture. These designs are intricate and full of back stitching and other finer details. If you prefer simple and quick designs than these are not gong to be what you're looking for. These designs will take several days and longer to complete but well worth the time in the end. She is a much beloved artist of many years and these designs are true to what you know and love about Mary Engelbreit's art work.

liked most of the patterns. I wished she would do more books like this. I am making a pieced quilt from the mother goose cross stitch pattern.

I like the intricate details of the crosstich patterns in this book.

I spent about an hour looking through this book, it is immaculate and well cared for. Cannot wait to do a cross stitch!

I primarily got this book for the Santa BELIEVE design. There are LOTS of fun designs (including GOOD TO BE QUEEN). There are many designs I haven't seen before. (there's a really cute one of a boy hugging his dog; an angel; Let is Snow; ornaments and many others.) Really looking forward to doing some fun projects!

I was instantly in love with this book! it's written so well & includes such great alternative projects other than the full pattern project. the most difficult thing for me with this book is going to be which project to start first & who will get it for Christmas!! GET THIS BOOK, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

I love Mary’s work but it’s NOT looking so timeless in cross stitch. It’s still full of beautiful designs.

This is a wonderful book for the young and old. There are cross stitching patterns for individuals of various levels. The pictures are crisp and really cute. I am going to be enjoying stitching patterns in this book for a long time to come.

I had never really seen ant of these charts only in adverts, but someone brought me a book, I was hooked, I now have a couple of books with Aida measured and waiting.
