Great Improvement over TV Speakers
First, these reviews are for 3 different units, so I'm reviewing Larksound 2.1 Sound Bar for TV with Subwoofer (not the 3.1 with wireless subwoofer).Setup:Setting up the sound bar was extremely easy. I have my television on a bedroom wall with nothing below it, so I mounted this to the wall below the television. The included template made it very simple: make 2 holes, insert the plastic wall anchors, screw in the screws, and you're done. There is one issue though... my television supports HDMI and optical, but HDMI isn't really an option if your wall mount the bar because the plug on the included HDMI cable is too long and won't allow the bar to mount to the wall. This forces me to use the optical cable, which works fine, but doesn't allow me to adjust volume with my television remote, so I have to juggle 2 remotes. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. At some point I might get a thinnner HDMI cable with a 90 degree bend or place the bar on a piece of furniture so this isn't an issue. The connection was simple - one speaker cable from bar to the subwoofer, the optical cable from the bar to tv, and plug in the power.I adjusted the input to "optical" ("OP"), set my tv's sound output to optical, placed 2 batteries (AAA) in the remote, pressed the power button, and everything worked great.Sound:The sound is rich and vibrant. I haven't listened to a lot of heavy bass music, but it is a huge improvement over the TV sound.Volume isn't as loud as I was hoping, but still much louder than the TV, and more balanced, making it easier to hear dialog during movies. At full volume, it's plenty for my bedroom, but for a larger room where the sound bar sits a considerable distance from the audience, it might not be quite enough for some.Overall:For $60, this is a huge improvement. About what I expected, or perhaps even a little better. You're not going to beat a $200-400 Bose system, but for a bedroom or a smaller living room, this is perfect and well worth it.

First sound bar .
This is my first sound bar and it’s barely 24hrs in use . I will say set up is easy but the optical doesn’t fit the sound bar or my TV . No matter because I went to the local Wal store to buy a Y male 3.5 mm cable . The clarity was noticeable while using the voice option. Overall I am happy I started somewhere .

works fine if you don't use the aux input at all
DISCLAIMER: This review is solely based on my personal experience/usage of the product. Yours might be different.I got myself this soundbar for my gaming setup. I don't need a fancy stereo system but I do want reasonably nice sounds. So I bought this soundbar. The sound quality is decent. You get the enable the 3D mode. I only do what I when playing music, and during dialogs, the 3D mode can make it sound like the dialog comes out from two different directions. The really problem is, the aux input of this product is defective, and the sound connectivity can be a bit unstable. When I purchased it the first time, I tried to connect it via the aux cable. I can hear the sound disconnect every few seconds (yes, literally). I thought it was the cable, so I purchased brand-new aux cables. And the problem persisted. So I realized it was a hardware problem. I could only use the speaker via Bluetooth connection, and even then, I still get disconnected occasionally. So I returned and got a new one. And the problem with the aux input is still there.Very very bad quality control from the manufacturer. I don't even bother to return the replacement I got because my gaming pc is Bluetooth enabled. But I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I know for sure.

Better quality sound than the tv, not as loud as expected.
The sound quality is solid, much better than tv speakers. I got this so that my wife and I could hear the tv from the kitchen while we do dishes/cook. The total max volume of the bar is about the same as the TV, but with better quality. So if you just want good quality sound get this if it’s on sale, if you want big sound, get something else.

Big thumping with a slim body
This set has a really great slim design-even the subwoofer. Finally a subwoofer that slides behind the couch without a 10” gap! It can be stood up or laid down. Its even slim enough to slide under a table. This entire unit is easy to setup. No need to be a tech genius. I love the optical option as well as the Bluetooth. It’s easy for anyone that comes over to pair their phone and play music. Pretty cool. No need for an additional BT speaker. The remote is easy to use. It even has an option to dim the lighting. Great option when your watching in the dark. The sound is great. It has great bass and additionally the voices are clear. This a great system at this price. It has everything you need to setup your home theater without a lot of wiring and installation
