The lid is not made right, there is no vent to allow fluid to flow.
I had to literally drill a hole through the back edge of the lid of this to get anything to really come out to drink. This is the worst design for a lid I have ever seen. The tumbler itself is totally awesome though. It's a shame.

Love these Tumbler
there work great. Just have too watch what company who make the one you buy. The Yeti cup's are Really Good-BUT way too Expensive for me too but.

WORST LID DESIGN! Can not clean lid at slide mechanism. Allows residue build up for future bacteria
