Once it is playing does great.However - it goes to sleep randomly. Has rebooted frequently. Seems to be affected by TV remote causing random actions.Looses the USB key air mouse sporadically after going to sleep. Must be power cycled (unplugged from the wall) to get it to re-find the air mouse.If you are going to use it for Kodi it has some remote functionality issues - some buttons dont perform what they indicate on the remote.I have not, nor will I be using the wifi so cant say how it performs. The rj45 has had no issues handling streaming from Netflix or Sling.The blue LED is crazy bright and annoying if box is anywhere in field of tv view. Had to cover with electrical tape.I would not repurchase this box based on the anomalies I've experienced.But at this price point it is usable - I will pass it on to play videos off SD card for my grand daughter once the other box arrives and has beensetup and tested.Don't buy if you plan to use it with kodi!It is a nightmare to use with kodi.Kodi hangs, can't quit app have to manually power cycle the box.

It does exactly what I bought it to do very well. That is act as a Kodi player. When it came I connected it by ethernet to my router and by HDMI to a TV and then followed how to articles on loading Kodi and the most useful add-ons for kodi. Once done with that I moved the unit next to the TV in the main living room and relied on its wireless connectivity to actually stream the video. I highly recommend getting a small wireless keyboard to use with this unit, just make sure that the keyboard comes with a wireless dongle to plug into the box so the keyboard will work with zero issues. The wireless connectivity of this unit to my wifi is plenty fast enough to stream HD movies with no dropouts. I tried a VPN service (Nord) but found that far to often the wireless speed slowed down so much that I had many interruptions in video streams. I must have tried over 20 servers from Nord all had this issue. As long I don't use the VPN streaming is fine. After we finish watching a movie and are done for the day I shut this unit down via its menu. I find this eliminates any issues that can crop up if you just put it to sleep. Very pleased with this little box, we have had it for several months now.

Box has a system shut down mode that comes on after 2-3 hrs of box being on, shut down window appears give you 30 seconds to hit ok, then starts playing again, big problem is the the window returns several times and varying times from every 2 seconds to a few minutes, the only way to stop this window and shutdown from happening over and over again is to reboot or shut down box. Then it will return after 2-3 hrs and the hassle begins all over again.After several emails to The QacQoc team couldn't figure this out and asked me to factory reset, which was done several times and also all daydream and timers were shut off on box,and my tv, does not make a difference. They then suggested to returned box and talk to Amazon service team and get half off next order. How to do that is unknown to me but box is being returned for refund.I personally know of 3 other boxes owned by family/friends , and they all do the same thing!!!!Also the remote never worked correctly from day one. I had to buy another remote, Air mouse

i'm very careful when i rate things to be as calm as possible. gotta say there is a little lag in the ui with these specs, and the remote is useless. i use CEC to turn the box on and off, but video plays well once it's playing. to me, that alone is not enough for a 3 star rating... the horrifying truth is i had the box literally 2' from my router to set it up, and i only had 1!! wifi bar. the box was to go in the kitchen, and there was no possible way it was going to connect to my router that is only 15' away... i solved the problem with a belkin wifi extender and a 1' ethernet cable. that's like a $35 fix, so if you're going to use the box on wifi, use the fix, that has the added bonus of a more powerful wifi network, plan on using ethernet and not wifi, place the box extremely close to your router, or just use the $35 to buy a better box...

Fantastic Android based STB! No surprises. Description is accurate and the seller even includes a few extra apps. Remote has very good range and seems well built. Runs everything I've loaded so far. No weird glitches or reboots of apps. Very happy!

Ok so iwas excited to receive this item....it arrived all well.works perfectly on a hdmi ported tv.but i bought this for an rca ported tv...it did not come with an av cable nor does it have a signal converter built in.....i was desperate to make my old tv smart.....so i purchased a signal converter separately with the necessary cable....this is a great purchase if you just have a basic tv. And need to make it smart....but the advertising on you tube did not show all this extra add ons....so 4 star because it has to get extra items just to wrk as in advertising....Thanks..

My contract with Direct TV was ending. I was tired of paying $200 a month. So I asked my son to do some research. He suggested this product. I ordered one. We were surprised by what all it offered. The first night we watched a movie that just came out in the theater. All our shows were available and all the seasons. So we could binge watch any show. We can watch local news off the Internet. I ordered two more. One for each tv. My contract was up August 30th. No antena needed, you just need internet. Only difference now is I don't pay for it. And no commercials.

Great TV Box hardware with a good number of USB ports. OS is not friendly to the TV Box format and REQUIRES a touchpad based controller to use. Game support is lacking. This is great for streaming videos over a private network or using cloud-based streaming services.This device turns your TV into more than a smart TV, but less than a modern smart phone due to interface issues on the software side.
