Gentlestache Horizontal Knife Sheath for 5 inch blade, Compact Draw, Dark Brown

I love this sheath. Fits my Sog Seal Pup knife perfect. A very good deal for the buck. I love that I van carry it horizontal for a quick draw. I carry it horizontal in front. Very comfortable. Love it.

Well built and fits my knife perfectly. Also comfortable on my hip when wearing it.

This is a nice looking and well made sheath but it is thin. I bought it for a knife with an antler handle and the retention strap will not fit around the handle. However, it should fit a normal handle. The stitching looks good and I plan on using it on another knife.

Great product for the amateur knife maker. The leather is on the thinner side, but I don't abuse the sheath like I do the knife. It's a good value for the price.

Fits my knife real well!

For a Chinese knife sheath that my Mora Classic knife is going into, this is a good sheath. I didn't want to spend as much as the knife on a sheath that is going to get all dinged up in the woods. It's a good fit for the classic Mora with the finger guard. It's not perfect as the knife will fall out when upside down without the snap closed. However, the leather is softer, and is comfortable when in the horizontal carry position. I wish the snap was larger and the star on the belt loop was a bit stronger, but for the money this is a good value.

The media could not be loaded.  I used it once and the belt loop just fell apart. As of the date of this review I have yet to hear from the seller. Apparently they don't care about the quality of their product or their customers.

This is a really nice sheath! Mine is well made an all the details, stitching, rivets, snap, are perfect. It has a really nice soft feel, not stiff and the texture feels like it is made from good quality leather. the leather is a little thin and it is very flexible, so I hope that I don't poke the blade point through it. Color is rich, deep brown and I like it! It fits my handmade knife very well with a 3.5" blade and it is roomy enough that the bolster/handle just tucks in a half inch and makes it feel really secure. If your knife has large finger guards, it probably won't work. Both belt loops are roomy enough for my wide belts. I highly reccommend this!

Yes, you need this. I absolutely love this sheath. It's very great quality. It's soft leather too. It fits both of my Morakniv's perfectly. This is the 4" sheath. The snap is sturdy as well. It's going to be a lot more comfortable to wear and carry than the plastic Morakniv cases. I highly recommend buying it. It was fast delivery to New Brunswick, Canada. It was packaged very professionally too. I can guarantee that I'll be buying a second one at some point for my other Morakniv. I would give it 10/5 stars if that was possible!
