These have serve well, over the years we have been using. The exercises are good and with answers. We have recommended to other homeschooling families as well. These qould work well as supplemental item as well to boost better understanding.

I have been using this book for my homeschooler and I find it a solid curriculum covering a wide range of subjects. Every lesson includes a one page essay on a science concept and five-ish questions based on the reading, with reviews/assessments every seven lessons. There are seven of the seven lesson units. We get through two pages per session. It’s challenging but not overly frustrating. The book has a wide range of subjects, and in addition to my student learning about these, I feel this book is helpful for reading comprehension and information synthesis. I’ve been very happy with it.

These really helped my nieces.

I like it because it has some really great vocabulary highlighted and pointed out. I use it to give us ideas for experiments, but my 7yo prefers “doing” science rather than reading about science. I agree! So we watch a quick educational movie and do an experiment to accompany the topics in this book. The topics are good for the level and the questions are challenging.

Works for our homeschooling

Challenge but not too hard. You read a short passage and answer questions. This book also has quizzes which help.
