Has worked quite well, I use IEMs in conjunction with these and it has worked very well. I have made calls with this adapter and it has worked really well and as advertised. Oftentimes i am in noisy environments as well as driving in a large, noisy 2ton flatbed truck.The Bluetooth connectivity has been excellent, it's easy to use and was simple to set up. I use this adapter primarily for my iPhone, but I have tested it with my MS Surface and works just as well.So far it has been compatible with every BT device I have thought of to connect it with.For $15-16 dollars it has held up really well. The audio with my IEMs has been clear and no real problems.

Phones don't have the jacks! I bought my phone and realized it was going to gigahertz straight to the brain from here on out, and no thank you lol. This accepts any headphone with a 3.5, dead simple to operate. The signal can be finicky, but I've got a lot of steel around me as well.I have smashed this thing. It has been set on fire by a welder. I have been in the sun for hours with it on my belt buckle. It's awesome. My only complaint is I wish the belt clip was a snap clip like a steel one on measuring tapes. Which might just be something I actually do.

In my experience, I'd recommend that you not expect to interact with the device without actually glancing at it to make sure you're hitting the button you want. As far as being perfect for doing sports, I'd say that depends on the chord length of whatever earbuds/headphones your connecting to. How I've assembled this works great at the gym -- I don't have any flowing chords to get tangled in equipment. I have also notice that the volume buttons are a little wonky. Easy to use and pair with the Bluetooth -worked right out of the box! I have a laptop with no working headphone jack and a phone with no headphone jack. Sure, I use Bluetooth headphones, but they're not always the most practical solution. This saved me from tossing my most reliable, best fitting 3.5mm headphones for the best clarity. Switching to other devices with the Bluetooth and button reset (play plus volume down held for 5 seconds until blue and red lights blink to reset) was easy, too, when I needed to. Buttons are tactile; charging is easy with USB-C wire.

Best device ever. I'm so happy I found this. I had to get a new cell phone and it doesn't have a earbud jack. With this device I can use wired earbuds (which I prefer) and adjust volume and turn off and on with this small device in my pocket. I listen to radio and podcasts so I can't address sound quality for music but for my needs it's perfect. Compact and easy to use, even for the technically challenged.Update. Love it so much I bought a second one to use while charging the first one. You can't pair a second to phone without removing first! I'm such a novice I didn't know this. Had to return..
