WWE '12

There are a lot of great things about this game. And THQ once again lives up to delivering an awesome experience. The ONLY issue I have with it is the controls. I remember back in the late 90's the THQ wrestling games had such easy controls. It's not like that anymore. Thankfully most of the finishing moves are still really easy to do. But I don't think I'll ever be able to figure out how to toss someone through the announce table. The closest I can get is removing the monitors. And it's surprisingly hard to figure out how to get a two-player game to work. You'd think all you have to do is press start on controller #2.Still, any issues with the controls are very minor compared to all the positives of the game. It has a true WWE feel to it, and the superstars have been customized to mimic their real life counterparts in so many ways it's unbelievable.It's great to see that you can grab foreign objects from the audience. Adds a whole new level of fun to the game.Just don't take this game too seriously and you're in for hours and hours of fun.

The item arrived with a giant crack in it. I had to have it for a gift that day so I turned it into a game store in town for a discount towards a used copy. Which I had not purchased in the first place because this one was supposed to be new and much cheaper. I had to pay twice the price of this one for the used one because I needed it then. Needless to say I will not be purchasing games from this site again!

We limit video games in our house and my son constantly is asking to play this game and when it is "video game time" this is bar-none the one he's playing. The Wii makes it fun and even I have been known to play Randy Orton once or twice. Every WWE fanatic will LOVE this game! The graphics are good even if John Cena does look like a toddler. The screen behind the wrestlers as they enter is the "real" screens from the WWE, it doesn't even look like a game on that screen. Very pleased with this, as is my son!

I you have purchased previous versions of this game, I would consider either not buying this one or waiting till you get once cheap, maybe used. The main improvement/difference is that the roster is updated, but whether you like the folks on the newer roster will determine how much of an improvement that is. For the CAW, you can set the various levels of abilities vs. having to wrestle a bunch of matches and get your butt kicked a lot, so that's a plus. But the graphics seems choppy and not as smooth as the 2010 version I have. Plus, the camera angles don't seem to be as good, and you feel less a part of the action. Those are the main points, there are a few other minor issues, such as navigating to find the wrestler you want, that seem more cumbersome.

The graphic guru's will make fun of me, but I still think it's a good looking game. WWE 12 has a lot of options that most won't ever get into, but they should before they review it.The Main story, it's limited, I can't and won't deny that. But the creations and Universe modes is where this game can hold some water. You can make your wrestler, and make him/her a story line. This is very cool if you get creative. And the Universe mode, you can make friends, rivals, make your own matches, jump between the different shows. For the money you have options.Of course it is a wrestling game and it can get very boring very fast. I play it as a time killer for the most part. If I got a few minutes ill play a match or 2. I give it 4 stars, but only because my toons are cool looking :)

My 8 year old doesn't think this game is worth the money. The graphics leave much to be desired. If I had to do all over again - I wouldn't.
