Bigger than I wanted, but happy with results
I was excited to find this product. 4 inches was much bigger than I expected and wanted, but I used it like a chair railing to cover where my wallpaper stopped and my painted wall began and made it work. It is a beige looking color, so I painted it white with no problem. Installation was easy, but I have a little dip where I stopped to pull off adhesive and it began to stick. I could use someone to hold that end for me. Also my measurement was off a bit when I got to the corner end. So I cut it and then it was a bit to short. I was able to stretch the moulding a bit to fit that corner. None of the moulding in my house is this size, so if to purchase again, I would purchase something smaller. happy with results.

There's a solution to the color
I used this product as crown molding and for trim.Keep in mind that the color is not pure white, the color is as labeled: a cream white: I don't think people realize that you can actually paint this product to whatever color you want.As for adhesion: it sticks well and can be removed and adjusted and will still stick. If that becomes a problem, then use a little double sided tape to assist. Keep in mind your climate and temperature, can affect the product: you should be able to use a hair dryer on it if it shrinks due to cold weather. Be careful though because you don't want to risk melting it so put it on low and run it back and forth gently to start with.Going back to color: I painted mine white and it absorbed it well. I didn't have to use much paint. If you have to cut it, make sure to cut it in a straight line (width wise) so if you have to line it up again, it'll fit perfectly. This product does stretch well too, just don't go overboard.I found this to be a great and affordable diy decor for our living room. The width was perfect and length as well. It covers a lot of surface.

Absolute garbage
This stuff is garbage. I bought it willing to know that it wasn't going to be the best and that was okay because I was putting it in a closet. I didn't notice till after I cut it that there were multiple creases in the material and it was next to Impossible to get one of the adhesive strips off. Don't waste your money or your time.

Beware Off White Means OFF WHITE
The description on Amazon mentions off-white color but I just didn't pick up on that description. The color is so different from any baseboard Ive ever seen which caused me to return this item. In addition, it's very thick and appears a bit like a marshmallow. I cannot recommend this item.

Great Quality
I ordered the 3" for a project and when I held the wrapped roll against the project, I found 2.5" would fit perfectly so :( I have to return these. I opened the end of one roll to check the depth of the moulding & was quite impressed with the quality of this product. Some of the reviews indicate otherwise. This is not wood or a polystyrene moulding but it is definitely a fiber of substance. (Since I didn't try to apply this product, I can't review adhesion.)

You need a plan to cut it perfectly.
The sticker on the back holds well, it doesn't cover the entire back of it, though, so you may end up with it flexing off the Wall slightly and you will notice if you touch it that you can push it down and it pops back up. However it looks fine if you don't touch it. And anyway it's soft material so it will feel different to the touch than wood. However, I do not know how you're supposed to cut this stuff to make the cut perfect. A saw would rip and tear it to shreds, but a knife is very hard to get perfectly angled and without kerf marks. So the ends tended to look somewhat ragged no matter what I did. I was using it around a pole in my finished basement, so I needed the flexibility and it was good enough. I put the seam on the backside of the pole and used a little caulking to stick the ends together and fill any gaps in the seam. Works pretty good, which is good enough. Absolutely do not stretch it when you're installing it, though, that will cause the ends to pull away from the each other even worse.

Not white
I picked this higher price option because it said the colour is white. The other cheaper options said creamy white. This is also creamy white. The first 2 feet of each roll weren’t usable because of the indentation from the way it was packaged. It was easy to use though.

Not good
Made of foam and not very good for baseboards.
